Course has improved dramatically in the past few years. Greens are a highlight - as good as anywhere in the area. Food is now on a different level to previous offerings. The transparent and modern agenda from the board is heartening - the clubhouse will benefit from anticipated investment.

Old fashioned listed clubhouse but surprisingly modern outlook on the membership. Course is in fantastic condition. Green keepers should be proud of what they have presented. Food very good and bar staff friendly and most polite. Well done Stratford GC

From Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club
Stratford on Avon Golf Club was founded in 1894. We moved to our new course in 1924 designed by J H Taylor, five times winner of the Open, and F G Hawtree. Sam Ryder opened the new course in 1928 with Abe Mitchell (the figure on the top of the Ryder Cup) and three other Open champions playing a demonstration match.
We have a challenging yet very picturesque par 72 course, respected and admired by both low and high handicap golfers alike. The fairways are lined by a variety of mature ornamental trees and our sandy, easy draining subsoil enables play virtually all year round.
