Lacking care and effort. Arrived to find bins overflowing outside, drunks smoking inside the lobby. Had to work hard to somewhere to sit that wasn't drafty and cold. Food was fine when it arrived, but had to chase waitresses for everything. Not great, and could be so much better.Parking: Lots if parking at rear

Service slow despite not being that busy, items on menu not available despite being a fairly limited menu anyway, while some stuff was ok many items were very bland like nursing home/hospital food. Felt like eating in the 1980s not 2024

Terrible experience. Booked a table for 8. When we arrived were given menus including the Sunday menu. Drinks order was taken. 2 drinks didn?t arrive and one of the ones that did was wrong. We came to order the food, 4 roasts and 4 meals from the normal menu to then be then told that they had sold out of roasts hours before and the person who had sat us down ?needed a smack? for not telling us. 4 of us chose something else, then a few minutes later the waiter came back to say one of the choices again wasn?t available. The waiter found it funny which made things worse. When the food eventually came out after an hour one meal was missing and there was a further ten minute wait for this to arrive. We were offered a free drink which is a bit of an insult. The manager didn?t seem interested. The restaurant wasn?t even busy. When it came to the bill all we were offered was a 20% discount on our next visit. (The waiter even joked that we?d want to come back).

The worst dried up fish and chips I have ever had to wait over an hour for! Waiter was lovely serving our table. No sauces except mayo or ketchup. 30 minutes for drinks to arrive from bar - arrived with attitude!We went to the garden house for our desserts and coffee as I couldn?t take anymore of this place!

Food was nice and service was ok waitress was nice. I'd have liked more attention to have let me know there was last orders for food. Disappointed I didn't get to order a dessert.Main meal of salmon was lovely. I will head back for another meal and dessert!
