“Good value for money. Has some great quality products but the only thing I sometimes don't like is that lack of consistency of the products they have. You can't argue for the price though.”

“One of the best charity shops I have ever come across. Items are priced reasonable and mostly brilliant designer bargains to get hold of. Trainers and hats good too, unworn condition a few. Selection of items are one of the best I have seen. Little wear and tear. Staff are polite helpful and professional. Could not fault at all - 10 out of 10.”

“Brought a Harry potter book and 3d model book a couple of weeks ago from Sellyoak branch. Went to make the model the weekend and there wasn't anything to make. Only the instructions were in the book.Took it back this morning and the lovely lady behind the desk exchanged it to one that had got the model in. Never got the ladies name but thanks my collection will be completed now. Thank you lady.”

“I go there to buy books at a cheap price. Why don't I go the library? My reading speed isn't what it used to be, so I buy a book from Oxfam, you bet your arse it will still be unread a month from now. Also, it helps a charity; you really can't go wrong there.”

“WHSmith is a place where I'd recommend you to buy everything from pencil cases, stationery, thousands of exotic books and more. Some have upstairs and they lable clearly where the children books are and where the adults books are.”

“Wh Smith like on motorway services... But dearer. Pretty standard, can't really complain, prices are to be expected to be high on the airport, but you get a free newspaper with a bottle of water :)”

“A family member we were visiting booked for us and was weary about staying on services but it was comfy, clean and surprisingly quite. Free and ample parking. Staff were friendly and so helpful with lots of info for us and making sure all was OK and we were happy. A special mention to Kerry, Steve and Julie who made us feel very welcome from check in to check out. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thankyou”

“My girlfriend donated some books/DVDs and CD's, and the staff were really grateful for the donation, so it was great knowing that it was all going in to good hands and would be well looked after whilst in the shop. The shop is really well stocked with plenty of choice, and really well managed with people who look like they enjoy working there. The only snag is finding a parking place on the high street, so best to get there first thing in morning whilst there are still places to unload anything you have to donate from your car !”

“I arrived at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with only a small amount of cash. I was, unexpectedly kept in overnight. I popped into WHSmith, discovering I was short of been able to purchase a book. I explained my predicament and the cashier kindly allowed me to purchase it. I would like to express my deep appreciation to this member of staff. They saved me from a day of boredom.I can also highly recommend my purchase the book too. "Traitor of Colditz" by Robert Verkaik is a meticulously researched and most excellently written account of early work of MI9. Covering the Prisoner of War stories of Colditz and other POW camps. It shines a light on a previously untold aspect of the Allied forces story and this embryonic British agency and their invaluable disruption to the Third Reich.I can also highly recommend "Between Silk and Cyanide" by Alfred Marx. Detailing The Special Operations Executive creation and the strategical struggles organisationally and, very much, personally for the author the fight to preserve the lives of active, and more importantly, captured agents. Whilst fascinatingly devising a completely new coding system. Both of these books I would put top of my "must read" list telling the tales of the incredibly brave and selfless individuals.”
