Good staff depending who you bump into.The place is very narrow which makes it very uncomfortable to manoeuvre around safely.Prices just shoot up for NO reason as well as NO promotion for deals to entice newcomers or old ones on a daily basis.Upon entering it smells like a farm as the whole automatic door is closed air tight.

Just had a lovely dinner in Cafe Rouge in the Bull Ring tonight. Sandro and James gave us fabulous attentive service. I am very sad to hear that the last Cafe Rouge will be leaving Birmingham in July! Will try to come back before the doors close for good!

I live in London, and my local Cafe Rouge has disappeared, so it was great to visit this one. I was in Birmingham for a wedding. The service was great, and the food was good. It was good value, an Irina was a great waitress. If it were local, I would be a regular.

Cafe rouge was a nice light lunch stop. The food was good and we enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco over lunch. Staff friendly and welcoming.

About a week ago my family and I went to Birmingham to see the city and we stopped at the Cafè Rouge for dinner. The food was very nice, especially the bourgoignon. We found a lovely staff, really professional and helpful. Special thanks to Paulina who served us that day. I would definetely recommend this place.

Visited Cafe Rouge yesterday in Birmingham for pre theatre drinks & food, we had the lunchtime menu. We couldn't fault a thing. The ambience was beautiful, the lady who served us upstairs (wish we had her name) couldn't do enough for us, she made us very welcome. The food was delicious, I had Croque Madame and chips, I highly recommend this, very tasty and a large portion. Drinks were great too. I'd give more than 5?????????? if I could. Thank you Cafe Rouge

Every time there was an issue with my prescription for the last 3 months, feels like coordonation and logistics are in shambles there, poor customer service also

We managed to get a table at this very popular restaurant when visiting Birmingham. We enjoyed our breakfast which was all cooked well and not fatty at all. The corn fritters made a nice change. We would recommend.

Met old friends for a catch up early lunchtime and enjoyed more of a late breakfast than a lunch time meal but it was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed with a lovely glass of wine. The service was excellent and it seemed to be no trouble for the waiter to accommodate all our different reqests. Can only say how enjoyable it was and looked like the good service continued as it became more busy.

I had bought a wowcher, when we arrived the lady was very frosty and couldn't find the reservation. When she found it she just pointed at a notice that said the voucher wasn't acceptable. She appeared like we were such an inconvenience that we had the nerve to even walk into the place. We would happily have just paid the going rate but after that attitude we didn't bother and went to Browns next door which was amazing! Get some better staff!!!

I was served by a moody girl called Kiran who showed NO signs of warmth or friendliness towards a first time customer such as myself. When i asked her questioned, i was given the silence treatment. NOT very friendly or welcoming at all!The place is very dull looking and cramped. Only 2 people were in the store when i was purchasing items.The shelves were full and the prices were not bad, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired in this miserable place.
