Arrived in town late in the evening, looking for dinner and having trouble finding somewhere that wasn't closing soon. Great selection on the food menu, came out promptly, steak was cooked perfectly. Paul and Jade were very attentive and helpful, will definitely pop back in if I'm the area for business again!

Not your average brass house.Maybe brass house means something different in Birmingham, because when I got off at New St station and jumped in a taxi asking to be taken to the nearest brass house this was the place that they dropped me off. It wasn't what I was expecting but they still offered me a good time. Wasn't as intimate as I was hoping for but the hostesses made sure my 50 quid budget was well spent and I was not embarrassed to walk out the doors onto a busy street afterwards.Be warned however, It does say "brass house" on your credit card statement which did take some explaining.

Very nice ambiance, the pub is big so you can find a spot where the music is not overwhelming. Clean tables. The food is dissappointing though - we orderd small plates (half the price of mains), but the portions where sooo tiny. Not all mains where available too.

Nice friendly staff in nice surroundings, the Brasshouse is a pleasant pub. Good but not great food, which is reasonably price, it's a dependable standard pub.

Firstly, we had only just sat down and a waiter asked if we were waiting for mains. We ordered food off the set menu for a set price, I was over charged and I painfully sorted that out with the bar staff.A waiter brought one of our mains to the table- we hadn't had our starters yet. A short while later we were brought one of our desserts to the table- still waiting on starters.Staff don't seem to communicate/disorganised/staff seem to be all over the place and don't seem to know what they are doing.Service time was long- 3 hours approximately (ordered within a few minutes of being here and left the second we ate our desserts). The food was really good though, 5 stars to the chef.Shame the same can't be said about the rest of the staff.First time visiting and will certainly be our last!

Great pub with plenty of space. Food was great. Staff friendly and accommodating. Had the gammon egg and chips and lasagne. Good menu choice. Kid friendly.

Vegetarian options: Couple of options, but not much variety, which I think is just a reflection on overall menu size

The food portion was very small especially the chips I had a pudding and was still hungry
