**Pre Loved - Recycled Fashion Edition**So far the British Heart Foundation have been my favourite in every town I?ve visited in the UK, they seem to always have some very high quality goods for fair prices. Got some very lovely winter warmers at this one!Sharing lots of pics here, specially when coming from overseas like me, photos help a lot to give an idea of what we can find at the shops in another country, how much things cost, so we can be prepared, and it's just fun to see all different products and variety.Enjoy! :)Photos taken October 2023.

Very overpriced. More workers standing around than customers

Spent all day cleaning out my deceased mother's apartment as we had arranged a furniture collection with this store. I received an arrival time of 1458-1558 from a company called Boxmove. They Cold called me on a private number at around 1502 and when i rang the shop later they told me I didn't answer so they left. Absolutely disgusting especially on one of the most difficult days of my life.

Yet another of Harborne's many high street charity shop outlets, this is somewhere I visit around once every two months or so when we decide to spend a lazy afternoon having a mooch through all of the Charity shops along the main drag looking bargains in the book, clothes and record sections. Lady-luck plays a part, as always, and sometimes you find something, sometimes you don't. As an experienced charity-shopper you get to know the layouts of your regular haunts, and as this particular outlet hasn't ever been 'lucky' for me, I generally tend to take a quick tour through the shop - browsing the records and books, taking a quick peek at the clothes - and if nothing takes my fancy I move on. The interesting thing about the Harborne charity shops is that they all seem to the same radio station, usually Heart or Radio 2. So, as you move from one shop to the next you pick up the same show. I suspect they must have some sort of meeting each morning and decide which station they'll all tune in to on that day.

Another charity shop in Harborne High Street that is notable for it's displays - I particularly love looking in the window of the British Heart Foundation on the approach to Valentines day. For a quid you can send a soppy message to a loved one - not to be outdone by the love birds of Harborne ('Tracey I luv ya loads' or 'Big snogs from Trevor' for example) I placed one for my Mom from the dog but normally the window showcases a varied selection of books - mostly biographies, as well as an impressive selection of handbags. Inside this is a well laid out shop with items organised by colour and size. They have a good selection of jewellery and shoes. Staff are sometimes on the bemused side - paying by card can cause confusion - but are eager to help.
