Had a really bad experience of the Carphone Warehouse desk inside Selly Oak Curry?s. Firstly, the shop opens at 10am, not 9am. Secondly, no one came to serve me so I walked out after waiting nearly 10 minutes even though there were several staff members walking around the store trying not to make eye contact with potential customers. The level of customer service by staff in this branch of Curry?s was shockingly poor. Very disappointing as my previous experience of this Carphone Warehouse desk was good.

Once you share your phone number with them they?ll spam you for the years to come, even if you block their every single number, they keep calling from different ones.

Very poor service, advised my delivery was due on a Wednesday and now waiting 3+ days and still nothing. Rang up customer service (waiting 30mins) and finally get told my order will arrive in 1+ week. Very poor all round service from in-store and customer service line, no communications about my order being delayed and now without my live contract for over 1 week. Didn?t even get any sort of compensation from the store about this poor service.Won?t shop at currys again after this poor experience!!!!

You always have to go and dig out assistants in this store, despite them always seem to be hanging around in groups at the back or in and around the store. They never present themselves until you have been knocking about the store for a good 15 minutes. Its as if they are doing you a favour, not their job.

Ordered a new washing machine from on Thursday 12th for a Monday 16th delivery. Delivery window was 7am to 7pm & I arranged a day off work. The machine arrived broken, like it had been dropped. They took it away & ordered another for Tuesday.My partner takes that day off work and IT HAPPENS AGAIN. Another broken machine! They take it away AGAIN and re-order for Saturday.It arrives and the crew doesn't have the tools to fit it! I had to do it myself! They promised a £30 'sorry' voucher that I've still not had, over a month later. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.UPDATE: My parents bought a cooker from them without me knowing. Now they tell me THAT arrived broken too and they're having a replacement sent out.Worst retail company I've ever seen.

Telephoned on Sunday morning after 10.30. No answer! Not surprised as when i arrived he wasnt even on his own department! One of the Currys staff had to fetch him! Checked stock avaiability just before i left and was showing availabilty, When i arrived they had never had any today, and couldn't even order one.So the stock check information is meaningless. Waste of time!!!
Wont be going back.

Never answered the phone. Went in to find out where my phone was as it hadn't arrived at the repair centre. Staff found it sat in the till drawer where it had been rattling around for 2 weeks. Will never visit again, better customer service at Amazon.

Went into selly oak branch tonight as my contracted phone had broken and I needed to purchase one. A young man I think his name was Paris, hope I got it right he was amazing helpful and supportive , I did not feel like he was trying to hard sell, he was so helpful with my phone and even set it up for me , I will definitely be thinking of switching from ee when my contract runs out .a great service well done young man
