“It’s marvellous place with great history. History of the Chruch is clearly presented inside. If you are a history lover, this should be in your list. It explains the history Birmingham over years. Chruch is still functional and has lot of engravings and memorials.”

“Have been part of this amazing church family for 21 years. A proper church family that displays the grace and love of Jesus. All accepted just as they are. A great community to become ‘home’ for all who come.”

“Been there a couple of times. Friendly people but sadly the organisation does not share the same vision as the founder William Booth. Every Sunday is not about Christ and Christ alone. No more preaching of the true gospel. Every week is now all about money, raising more money and social justice and climate change...Missed the good old days where there was strict teaching of a true holy spirit filled discipleship studies to prepare us for CHRIST'S return.”

“a very nice church. i was a bit late for the service, but they were happy to see me all the same! all members were very friendly warm and inviting, willing to chat and introduce themselves. there was a nice group who performed the hymns on piano, violin and guitar which sounded great. the service was good with a talk and readings and partaking of the emblems. despite not being a member of the church, they still encouraged me to go up and receive a blessing which was very nice of them. this church is made up of all sorts of people and backgrounds with all age groups but suffered from a lack of teenagers or young people in their early 20's. the church is a more conservative christian church rather than a more evangelical church of england and focuses mainly on the eucharist each week. there are refreshments afterwards too! lovely church and will attend again.”
