“This is the place from where I start my shift. The first thing I need is Starbucks dark beans Latte coffee, my Pepsi Max and a lucky dip. A chat with friendly staff is a must thing. The staff members of the Merestones are beyond par and super friendly. I have never been let down at this place. See you soon guys.”

“Always the cheapest in the local area. However, as there are two entrances cars come in and out both ways so you can end up with a car facing you and have to reverse, to exit the station. Staff are generally nice and not had any issues in that regard.”

“I have used this station for petrol (not the worst prices for a local garage but more than supermarket petrol) but mainly use the shop for dropping off Hermes (now EVRI) parcels. This place will take the larger parcels that some shops in Erdington will not, so it is my usual go to drop off point.All places and staff can have an off day but in general I found the people friendly and efficient with parcels. I would hate to be in retail the way some of the staff are treated by the public and generally not deserved.”
“Small to medium petrol station. Got me out of trouble during the petrol tanker shortage. They had petrol even though it was limited to 30.00 pounds. Really happy I can travel to work. Panic over.”

“will be eternally grateful to the lovely kind man serving in the Esso service Station yesterday morning at weather oak alcester road .I arrived with approx 50mls fuel left in my tank to get fuel only to find I had forgotten my purse!! .I knew I did not have enough fuel to get me home (Alcester) . The kind man trusted me and took my mob number and let me fill my tank and call him as soon as I arrived back home to pay (aprox 2 hrs later). I am so glad he trusted me and am very grateful to him I would like to thank him and thank you Esso”

“It's a fuel station, albeit with the cheapest fuel in the local area, but don't come here if you want the premium fuel, they don't stock it! Stick with the big brands like esso and shell etc for that!”
“Cheap fuel and free air and water, to check tyres and fill your radiator. £1.17 per litre, 2p cheaper than Asda when I visited. Pay at the pump available if you don't want to pay at the kiosk. Pumps seem really quick too.”

Ended up talking to one of the cashiers on their break who told me it’s come under new management. “Very popular station as just before joining the M5. Don't go here if you are in a rush as many people go to the Costa coffee inside the petrol station after paying for fuel so you end up being stuck. However I do the same but ensure I leave enough time in my journeys.”
