Terrible. I was a victim of fraud and they didn't even have a fraud team in the branch. it was all online and over the phone and the 1st time I went into the branch, he kept cutting me off, starting the process again.The wait time was '40 minutes,' but I spent a good 1hr waiting. The workers did nothing, but watch me take the phone call and speak to the fraud team.The fraud team themselves were horrendous. I'm young, so I assume they took advantage of my age, but they kept implying that I wasn't telling the whole truth, even though I was. Took ages to sort it out, just to be told I won't be reimbursed at all. (upon my 2nd time entering the branch).The guy speaking to me was very unprofessional and talked down on me, and even though I didn't lose 'much'. he still refused to reimburse as he didn't understand how the fraud occurred (despite it being his job??)Avoid at all costs. The branch is fine, I guess but not Halifax as a whole

The manager ( I think he was) couldn?t do enough to help me, after my stepdad passed away I wanted to loan my mother some money to help pay for the funeral costs but I couldn?t remember my PIN number as my head was all over the place!, after several attempts them many times unblocking my pin to try again the man saw I had a Santander card in my purse so authorised my transfer as he trusted me , after all that I finally remembered my PIN number , Iv never been so grateful, only issue is their online opening hours need amending as Iv been to the branch during the week and it always seems to close half day!?

Went to the One Stop branch to open bank accounts for my children. Waited approximately 2-3 minutes whilst two Halifax staff stood around talking to be subsequently told I'd have to wait a month for an appointment. Absolutely zero customer service which is usually the case when an establishment is run by children. Went straight to Nationwide...

Not sure why this branch seemingly has such a bad reputation. Was served promptly, though there were others waiting for a bit. Issue I had was dealt with as quickly as it could and staff were pleasant.
