My son thoroughly enjoyed visiting the cat cafe, Gizmo was his favourite ?

The café looked lovely. The food (pizza and milkshakes) was delicious. 1 star less, because the staff didn't tell other visitors off, when those were chasing the cats, which were seeking peace and silence.

Called in today to central station, place is a great set up and was lovely getting to meet all the cats. However the staff were very unpleasant, seemed to be an effort to actually let us enter and serve our food. Other then take order there was no other conversation with them and only interested in talking to each other. It is worth a visit to support the cats, but other then that I would not recommend it. Food was 2 star if lucky.

It was a super fun experience. The staff were all super friendly and the cats were so cute. The food is kid friendly and easy to eat.

I loved the cats here, all the ones I saw were super sweet, although a bit skittish (which is absolutely understandable with the amount of people they see each day). The food was alright, we had a pizza and garlic dough balls. Staff were super nice! The only downside is that there?s no minimum age at which you?re allowed to be in here. There?s kids running around that apparently didn?t learn how to behave around animals, that were just chasing these poor cats.We even had to change tables because there was a group of children next to us, where one of them was just banging a spoon on a saucer.I think children should only be allowed at 10+ years in here. It?s a Kitty Café, not a Kitty Chasing Café.We left early after I could just not bear these little demons running around everywhere.

Awful. Ok so the main draw are the cats and as a charity you feel you are supporting a good cause. But that isn't a reason to turn out food not even worthy of feeding to our four legged friends!!Coffee was cold, tortilla chips with melted cheese was just a packet of broken up nachos with cold grated cheese and the rest was all forgettable. Service was slow. We came here for our daughter's birthday treat. I wont be returning.

The place itself is nice, the staff were lovely and a few cats chilling and sometimes coming over. But don?t recommend the food. The pizza was ok, but the chicken nuggets (more like chicken balls) were not cooked. My 10yr old son ate 1 and half and then saw it had some pink in it. Checked the others, which is when we realised those ones were raw, could hardly cut them open. Whoever is cooking needs to go on a cooking course. If I go again I wouldn?t eat there

The cafe has a charming ambiance and has many well-behaved and friendly cats, all appearing to be in good health. However, the dining experience wasn?t so good on multiple occasions, with the pizzas having raw ingredients.

Where to start?!No customer service whatsoever. No one came over to see if we were okay, needed anything else, nothing!! We got seated, told we only had an hour, order taken, that was it. Staff seemed uninterested.Considering the entry fee per person, you?d expect more than 5 cats.I was absolutely disgusted to see and hear children running around, screaming, chasing after cats, pulling at cats. I understand it should be the parents telling their children to not behave like this, however, surely, given the cafes ?rules? staff should be on hand to ensure cats are not being mistreated.I had children climbing onto my chair, under my table, to get to cats, and I had to tell them the cats obviously want some space.Being sat against the window, at table height and having people outside staring at you, banging on the windows aswell, perhaps this part of the window should be frosted over? It was very uncomfortable.Food was bland, overpriced and nothing special.Considering we paid nearly £50 for two of us, entry, two drinks and a sandwich each, which was supposed to be an enjoyable lunch, I left upset and very underwhelmed.

Been here twice, first time was very pleasant, I think they may have employed new staff because we visited satuday for my sons 7th birthday, on arrival a member of staff called brianna was arguing with a customer, thought nothing of this and was shown our seat, in the space of 10 minutes we had 4 members of staff ask our order, ( leave us alone, well call you!)Then this delightful brianna approached us and was very confrontational and rude, she told me a customer had complained saying my children was being left unattended to roam.Firstly, our 7 year old walked around and came back every few minutes, he was very respectful to the rules, didnt chase, grab pr follow, unlike half the kids there chasing and shreaking at the cats, secondly our other son is 1 and if you'd LOOK you'd see me and my partner took it in turns spending the majority of the time wrestling with him because he wanted to run off but we wouldn't let him.Brianna was VERY rude, she kept repeating herself and was annoyed that because we was telling her she was wrong, she told me it came from a customer and we should just accept it and move forward as she was just passing on what she'd been told, She did this INFROUNT of my kids, we had to tell her 6 times to leave because she was being so aggressive, in the end she muttered somethingand walked off... this woman strongly needs to ether work on her customer servise or go work next door in the Karen cafe. Here's a tip, if a customer complains to you about another customer, OBSERVETHE SITUATION FIRST to make sure A, they are telling the truth and B you have witnessed it yourself, you do NOT storm over to a customer without facts. You put an absolute downer on what was a lovely day for my sons birthday,.Brianna, you are rude and your attitude infrount of my kids was absolutely disgusting, in the first 20 minutes we witnessed you be vile to 3 other customers, good luck lasting longer than a month. We will NOT be returning.

Review from an animal care specialist. Loved the set up and cats. Hospitality however seemed to be prioritized over animal well fare and customer service was terrible which is ironic considering Karen?s diner was next door which is probably where the staff were hired from. The cafe was way overcrowded which can be very overwhelming for the animals however they did seem to be taken well care of. My partner and I flew to Birmingham just to come to this cafe we were told they were fully booked until after the time of our flight departure so we paid for a new flight ticket for a later time and honestly I was disappointed. We paid £7 per person which goes towards the care of the animals which I support fully. No one came to seat us so we sat our selves down for a waitress to come and inconvenience and move us to the worst seating spot to sit down two customers that came after us- there was no reserve signs. We tried to order the tea party for 2 meal the waitress said they wouldn?t make it for us as ?it takes too long? however when walking around I spotted 5 tables booked in the same slot time as us with the order they couldn?t do for us on their table. My parter was hungry so he ordered something I decided not to and was told ? I had to order something? then he?s cold overpriced food came 5 mins before we had to leave. Honestly wasn?t a good experience.

Came for mother's day, we were fine with the entry surcharge and an hour timeslot. No-one came to take our order till I asked a member of staff after 25 minutes. The food which was nice arrived 30 minutes later. We finally finished our desserts 1 hour 55 minutes into our 1 hour time slot after having to ask again for our pre-ordered desserts. When we complained we were told they weren't going to add the 2nd hour on to our bill. Finally got 10% off the bill. There was also a notice on the table asking for a 5* review to receive a free treat, seems a bit questionable. The food, cats and layout are nice. The service is not so good.

Mix feelings. Good for the cats and brilliant from the kitty side. But for customers, cats were not interested to be patted and running around by themselves and not even interested to come near the customers.I know the kitty cafe rules and we followed that. I think that cats are just bored and are not interested to stay around the people.Kids were not an issue for cats and customers. Don?t worry about that. There were Few cats .I know that in the UK,maintenance fees are expensive for animals. For kitty cafe ,I hope that there would be more cats in the future in the cafe.We didn?t order anything since we didn?t have much time. But waiters were busy most of the time and it takes time. So,order earlier and be vigilant with the waiter if you want foods.

Visited yesterday without booking with my two year old Grandson. It was fairly busy. Cats look well cared for. Basic menu but I didn?t go expecting anything else.We had jacket potatoes and drinks, I didn?t know a jacket potato could be burnt turns out it can! The seating areas seemed clean but the toilets are not, the toilet seat has laminate peeling away from it showing the wood underneath there is no way that can be cleaned properly.Replacing it would be very cheap so for the health and safety of visitors sort it out.A review from months before mentions the state of the toilets it?s obviously not a priority! The bottom of the sink was slimy and dirty so clean it properly.I always think when I visit somewhere selling food that if the toilets are not clean what does the kitchen look like? It?s a great idea but I would not return as cleanliness for me is a priority.
