i order an item on friday and was promised a delivery on Tuesday all i at to do was to phone up on tuesday to find out a delivery time because we had someone waiting on site to fit the item that day but when i call the Nottingham branch they said we haven't got the item so we will have to get it in so we can't deliver it till Thursday morning then i said you new that you didn't have it on friday when i order it and someone told me that someone was going or someone was coming from Lester to drop it off so it could be delivered on tuesday so what happened to my order then do they just forget about it and wait till i phone up so now it's cost me a days wages for the person that was going to fit the item i tried making but they just said sorry and past it back to the story they are not interested in your problems a bad show all round ???I wish to update this review because after i published it the manager at the Nottingham depot called me and was so apologetic about the mishap and promised me that i would get the item delivered the next day before 1o/clock and true to his word it avvived,So i wish to say Big Thank you to the manager and all his team at the Nottingham depot for all the effort they went to.and also for the refund it was much appreciated.

Awful rude customer service - phoned up to see if an order that I had paid for was still due to be delivered, as seen email about wanting more information about company, fobbed off and had phone put down on me!

Fantastic service and great prices from the SELCO team in Camberley.My builders placed another order for a couple of pallets of Thermolite blocks with Travis Perkins.After receiving the delivery, my builder passed me the invoice. I thought that the materials seemed quite expensive. I compared their price for exactly the same specification block with Selco in Camberley.To my shock we then realised that we had been overcharged by £100's and £100's. We made a call to Travis Perkins and tried to negotiate a better price..!!!Unfortunately, they still couldn't get close to Selco's price....!!The two builders were totally shocked and felt that they had been stitched up.I visited Selco in Camberley to place an order. I was introduced to Antonio where we discussed what other materials were required. Within 30 minutes of my visit, Antonio visited the builders on site to discuss the build and if he could help out with any other materials - Very professional.In Business, your price should always be your Best price, to whoever walks through your door...Thank you Selco Camberley

I've been trying to sign up for a trade account. I filled out the online form 3 days ago and I needed to speak to someone about the documents required but I've been cut off 3 times now as the receptionist has been trying to put me through and then I'm cut off. Last time I was ols I would be called back if I am cut off again but 15 minutes later no one has called me back. So I have tried calling back again but now no-one answers at all and I am going to voicemail. Without an account I can't order. But if this is a sign of the service to come I think I will shop elsewhere as no-one seems able to help

Cardiff depot, Hadfield Rd. Staff here can't do enough to help you. I am building two houses and deliveries are spot on time and delivered with care, special shout out to Mark on the tonka. 4 cans of lager on the way mate

Selco Hadfield Road, CardiffAbsolutely horrible experience with Selco.Bought a bathtub just before the lockdown which was delivered with the wrong feet and found it to be uninstallable.Selco were shut due to lockdown so we had to purchase a more expensive bath from another supplier as we were left without a one.When Selco reopened, I called in to arrange a return. I was told that they will call back to arrange a collection. No one called back and 2 days later, someone turned up at 7am in morning (unannounced) to collect the bath. I was not at home that day and only found out about Selco's visit when I returned the missed call from a random mobile number.I was told to call back Selco store again to arrange another collection. This time I was given a slot between 11am to 1pm on a Tuesday. To avoid any risk of connectivity issues, I gave 2 mobile numbers to ensure atleast one of us could answer their call when they are out to collect the bath.No one turned up from Selco and we waited all day. A few days later, I called Selco again and was told that they have already visited 3 times and were not prepared to collect it again. It was a complete lie that Selco came over to collect 3 times. From what I know, they came only once and that too unannounced.I then had to pay a man with a van to carry the bath over to Selco. The duty manager was visibly angry at me straight away when I tries to explaine the issue.She had been lied to about the 3 collection attempts by her own team. As a result, she was not prepared to listen and refused to return the bath and took an aggressive approach from the start. Upon inspection, she found a tiny little scratch (not more than 5mm that wouldn't even be visible on installation) and made it an excuse to not return the product. I tried to explain it to her that this is how it was delivered (probably it was a returned unit from another customer as it came without compatible feet).I had to remind her that I have already suffered alot due to Selco delivering an incomplete product and later due to their attempt for a collection that was never agreed with me in advance.This duty manager was having none of it and was adamant that the bath tub is damaged and cannot be returned.Her tone and tenor was too humiliating for me so I decided to leave the bath with Selco and walked out without a refund.On my wayout, another Selco staff apologised to me for his manager's behaviour and gave me the names of the senior staff members below to complain to.So,Lee williams (sales manager), Kevin (store manager) and Bryan (manager)If you are reading this post, please look into the above issue and if anything, get to the bottom of the lies to hide their own incompetencies and failures.

I have been going here since they started up in sheldon with 1 branch and 1 sawmill. But because I have retired and ceased trading lately, they cancelled my membership so I can't buy from them anymore. This isn't what you expect when you have given them your dedicated custom for over 30 years. Shame on you Selco!!
