They have a good selection of products but lots of stuff has no prices displayed, so expect a shock when you get to the till. Most things are expensive.

Be careful when paying with card, I was charged twice! Thankfully the amount was tiny, but I would be very devasted to see other people being charged twiced for a larger amount, especially when they refused to refund. I have walked into the store showing my bank statment and my personal banking on the app, no one could do anything they even tried to say that I have probably came to the store twice, refused to check cctv, basically told me to come in when the boss men is in, like am I meant to chase your boss? They were to scared to refund it without him, absolutely ridiculous! They should be able to do the refunds and check cctv for the things like that ! When needed, as I am not supposed to just accept being charged multiple times and you know pretend this is ok. Or they should have a manager in who is able to deal with things like that. So I have contracted my bank and they refunded one of the transactions, and also let me mention that they did say they way transactions appears on my bank is really odd, weird if you like. Yes, it might have been just a system glitch but come on someone should be able to deal with this. I have tried to complian to spar so they are aware of any dodgy stuff so other people are protected and everytime I contact them they like please send me store address as there are multiple spar shops on burtons way, I give her the address and they disappear so clear they don't want to acknowledge the issue. Just be careful when paying.

Such a strange experience. No word of a lie... from the moment I stood in the queue, going to the till, paying for my item and leaving, the girl who served me didn't say a single word to me. No 'Hello', No 'Goodbye'... she didn't even tell me the price... she just glared at me the whole time like I was an alien. Some basic customer service training is needed on how to interact with other humans... Manners cost nothing. Needless to say I won't be returning!

Glad to have spar on door step. Post office brilliant staff who run all nice thank god was there all through covid used it a lot to do banking save going to banks big thunbs up from me ?.

Nice clean and quite a large store. Staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. Some prices are a little high, but all in all not too bad. Sell fresh produce,such as salad ,meat and cooked meats. Some frozen foods. Sell papers and magazines. Have great monthly offers. Post office is inside. Also an ATM on outside of the shop.

Went to send a parcel today this is not the first time I've been told to wait as no1 able to run the post office when it has clear opening times . Girl asked me to wait 10 minutes . 10 minutes later another woman comes out and says are you waiting for the post office clearly as I have a big parcel in my hand . Or can you wait cos the girl who dose the post office not here yet . Me ok well what time will she be here . The woman I have no idea . So why tell me to wait then .this as at 12oclock bear in mind the post office is supposed to close at 2 o'clock

Quite a big store, good selection of food and drinks available. Only fault is that I have twice been sold out of date goods and had to return them upon realising. Also seems to always be groups of children/teenagers hanging around outside the shop.
