My mom had a policy with the co op. It's the first time I've dealt with them. I can honestly say, hand on heart, they did an outstanding job. From the organisation of the funeral to the day of. They were so respectful, helpful and nothing was a chore with them. They helped make the saddest day of my life so far, so much easier on us all as a family. Can't thank Liza and Lisa enough. You ladies do a magnificent job and thankyou from me and my whole family.Vicky xx

When my mum passed away I contacted the Co-op in Stirchley as she had a prepaid funeral plan with them. Sophie was appointed to look after us, and she was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. She made sure that all our requests were taken care of, and everything was looked after perfectly - very professional but also very personal too, almost as if she knew mum and was taking care of the arrangements for a friend. On the day Simon took care of us and again very professional and respectful - but also like he was taking care of a friend at the same time. I cannot recommend the team at Stirchley enough - I?ve never had to organise anything like this before but they guided me through all the way and organised everything just as my mum would have wanted.

My Mum died December and had a prepaid plan nearly £5000 with co op Stirchley there are still lots of hidden costs involved too its been horendous although the lady dealing with me gives all the right noises I dont believe it gets things done. She got cremated and will say the hearse driver was lovely I didnt feel rushed and was so kind anyway numerous phone calls and visits later and also phoning the crem myself I demanded her internment to be on 10th March My main gripe is the headstone apart from being asked several times to go and see if it had been lifted to be altered (I dont think that should be down to me to check if it had been removed) and way finally it was lifted in April now all that has to happen is a simple S put on daughters and my mums name and dates and I am being told it will take 20 WEEKS complained to them and got a snotty woman from the stonemasons telling me that it would be October now I undewrstand due to the pandemic things are taking a little longer but 10 months from start to finish it just so wrong I cannot grieve the loss of my mum till this is all finished as its all been left to me to deal with and dont feel like the Co-Op are at all supportive and as for doing a pre paid plan I wouldnt bother

Hi,my family and I have just had our mothers funeral today. And we also had our dads funeral 3years ago. Each one was through the Co-op. From the very start may I say, on both occasions from the first phone call, everything was delt with the up most respect and compassion. We were told every step of the way what was happening and when. We were helped and guided which gave us the strength to be able to make the decisions we had to make. I would definitely recommend the Co-op to give you the best funeral care from start to finish.Thank you x

From the first phone call to inform of my auntie?s death, through the duration of funeral, the level of care we received was simply superb! It?s always hard to say goodbye but, in my case, my aunt was more like a mother to me and the last of my biological family, with the exception of my adult son and daughter.I spoke with Angela, who was wonderful; she was sensitive, empathic and highly professional. As this was the first time I?d had to deal with such arrangements, Angela was sure to give me time and allowed me to make decisions that were best for my family. She managed to secure the services of Joan, a celebrant, who was amazing. She spoke with me, several times, before the funeral, to ensure that everything was just so. She delivered a beautiful service, personal and touching.Although we live in Shropshire the FDs, led by Christopher, collected us and returned us to our home. I was truly astounded at the respect and compassion extended to us. At such a difficult time, it was such a relief that Chris led us through every stage. We were never hurried, were given constant reassurance. When Chris said? We?ll do you and your auntie proud!?these were not empty words. He refused thanks saying?Thank you for trusting us to take care of your auntie?s funeral?Heartfelt thanks to all. You made a very difficult time so much more bearable and your kindness and commitment to care is greatly appreciated.

Been today at this florist to purchase flowers for my wife?s birthday and purchased the worst flowers you can ever purchase, waste of £30.00. One of the staff there said they didn?t have many choices on flowers and I said do why you can and she really did what she could by selling me the worst ever flowers purchased in my life. The leafs of the flowers where changed to white from green and the roses where black rather red. I didn?t see the flowers at the time of collection due to being in a hurry. I would have appreciated if she didn?t sell me the flowers rather selling some old gone by date.As expected not the best day after purchasing these flowers.
