Kings Norton is such a firendly community?including Toby Carvery. People would like to talk with you and smiling back to you which I did not feel the same in some other areas. Service and food in this Toby are great too. Want to come back here again?

Really disappointed with today's visit, table booked but 15 minutes wait which isn't so bad, half an hour queue for food.Mushy cauliflower, empty veg trays, bland meat, £3.85 for a refillable pepsi that wasnt even filled initially... After eventually sitting down with my food I arrived at my table to an empty glass with melted ice..... Ok then, I'll get up and pour my own £4 drink while my food goes cold!Booked a restaurant seat and got a bar seat which was very uncomfortable as the seat was too low for the table. No cutlery on the table , no waitress asking if everything is ok. Poor food and poor service. Not sure I'll be going back any time soon. For the best part of £40 I could go somewhere else and have the food served to the table. Very poor show

I went here on Sunday with my family. I asked for lamb but when it was put on my plate it was like jelly (fatty) and bloody. I asked for fresh lamb because it didn?t look very appetising. I ate all my food, went home and now I have painful food poisoning. I won?t be eating here again!

I really wanted to enjoy the experience and the food since it has been a while. Understaffed, long overdue for an overhaul and very old and outdated. Long wait for someone to serve the food and it was old ends of the meat that had been sitting there and just slowly being cremated that it was hard! The other food was either dried out and needed replacing or non existent so unfortunately no amount of gravy was going to help..really disappointed and the place needs cleaning from top to bottom and why was there cutlery on the floor plus please keep an eye on toilets and restock the toilet roll! ?

The Cavery yesterday was nice. I?ve been here several times, the meat just so so.. but yesterday was delicious , especially the beef. The roasted potatoes also yummy, fresh not too dry. The lady who serve my table is so helpful.

Breakfasts at the Toby carvery, I would say If you haven't been and had one, you are missing out on the All you can eat Breakfast and bottomless tea/coffees, never had a bad one yet, well worth a try.

One of the last customers to arrive at 830pm on a Wednesday night, The guy carving the meat was super friendly and a happy chappy, no beef only pork, gammon and turkey, no issue with the time we arrivedGood selection of veg was hot, fresh and tasted goodAll the staff was super friendly and we both had a enjoyable meal,Definitely recommend and I will back soonWell done the team at Toby Carvery Kings Norton ?

Came in for a Monday night roast which is normally decent standard however the service tonight was awful, clearly the shift supervisor was having a bad day. When arriving without a booking she made a comment we should book next time as they are extremely busy however the restaurant was empty, she also said we only had 1.5 hr on the table which we was more than ok with. When I went to the bar for a drink while waiting for other guests, the same women was serving and was very confused on my wine choice (looking at whites in the fridge when it was a red) she then asked me to pay however was very rude and didn't even give me on bit of eye contact while I was being served. Once seated and eatening I went to the bar and despite four staff members stood doing nothing I waited over 10 mins where then this same supervisor approached me saying she 'needed our table back in 13 minutes, can we clear the plates' but guests were still eating, just seemed she was either having an awful day and projecting it onto the guests dining here this evening or maybe she's just not made for customer service. All in all ruined our late mother's day celebrations with a hard shoulder service style, 100% wouldn't recommend for service. Great standard carvary tho! ?

Honestly the worst place. Not even close to enough staff, 20 mins waiting at the bar and a full hour waiting in que for food. It was so bad.
