“I recently went in to buy my usual Rose Jam perfume. On the first visit the girl who dealt with me was lovely and when she found out it was my birthday gave me a free shower gel. Unfortunately (no fault of the lovely staff) my perfume was faulty, it didn’t smell like Rose Jam in the slightest. I was quite nervous to exchange an item for this reason due to the staff maybe not agreeing with me. Charice, dealt with me today. She agreed and reassured that the product was not right and to say sorry she ended up treating me with items she thought I’d love! I’ve not only left with my favourite perfume but with more items with my favourite scent of rose and a big smile on my face ? thank you charice!! I just hope I’ve spelt your name right”

“Hayley & Georgia were absolutely amazing at this shop. Me and my mum spent over £300 in store because of how helpful and knowledgeable they were. They were extremely patient when we were asking questions and were very very friendly. I honestly can't thank them enough they definitely deserve recognition as they were unreal! I would definitely go back here again as they provided the best customer service I have received in a long time. This is the store that is on the second floor not the ground one as they wasn't very helpful.I would give this review a 5 star just because of how good Hayley and Georgia were however, we were made to feel very uncomfortable on a number of occasions by another member of staff there. We witnessed her not long being rude to us but to other customers who needed help and also her own colleagues. This was not nice to see after how helpful the others had been. She was an older white lady with short blonde hair, I would not approach her. Definitely ask for Hayley or Georgia if you use this shop!!”

“Lovely Clothes, but the actual shop at MH in particular is fantastic, they can't do enough to help you - even when your being very indecisive and trying on loads like myself. Clare the manager, was very helpful - bringing lots of sizes in and out, telling me what looked lovely which turned out to be a playsuit! I wasn't sure so purchased two items, but she was right and the playsuit was the best look on me. Lacey a staff member was lovely in the phone as I didn't have long to bring back the other item, but had another event that I was deciding Whether to keep it or not, and I was going to come and buy it again to give me more time to decide, but as it was a BH weekend Lacey kindly said I could have two extra days over the 28 day rule, to save the journey. Clare also agreed to this. So thanks so much, if youre a curvier lady and you finally want a store that's not just online and to still feel good about yourself and to try on then yours at MH is the best. It's the Asda end and the staff are so helpful. They even gave me a bra fitting so that my playsuit looked even better. Thanks ladies! 5 stars from me”

“Visited today to exchange some joggers. I couldn't find what I wanted. Lovely assistant Hannah was so helpful. They didn't have what I wanted in store so she ordered on line for me. “I recently went into Jantino looking for an outfit for Ascot. I am plus size so unsure if I would find anything suitable. Roslyn found a dress I liked but I didn't like the colour. I knew it came in other colours so I asked if they could possibly order it in for me. She checked with the owner who agreed in this instance. I went to try it on yesterday, it looked fabulous, can't wait to wear it now. Roslyn was so friendly and helpful, excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Jantino if you are looking for something special.”

“We are from Sheffield and while visiting family in Dudley we called at Merryhill .My mother's battery operated wheelchair suddenly got a spare battery jammed underneath while opening . We could not open the wheelchair or close it and mum needed it to get around as she cannot not walk . I looked around and saw Halfords and wondered if they would help . We had no tools with us at all . After checking the store was manned a staff member came to our rescue . Could NOT THANK THEM ENOUGH and they should be praised for helping us . Not many would but we found the young men so polite and with a willingness that is rare these days . “I don't shop at all and I'd been to next then new look to buy clothes for my disabled wife and trying to get size 22 was hard and next wasn't helping at all, kept bringing size 16 saying \\\" we have this *!!!!! Sorry saw M\\u0026S and asked a kind most helpful lady called Sam niles and she kitted my wife out from top to bottom along with shoes underware and alother things too make our dinner out special, I can't recommend M\\u0026S enough and personally like to thank Sam as she is a credits to her managers and the M\\u0026S brand, please pass on my thanks to Sam and the stor manager and if someone can acknowledge this response please as soon d like to do a better one in a more official review”

“Visited this store today and the ladies who work there are very friendly, pleasant and hands-on with their efficient customer service. Tried on three pairs of tuxedo trousers for a wedding, and they gave their own personal input to see what looked best on me. One lady even took the trouble to assist me on doing a click and collect order, which i found very helpful. Would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking to buy a suit for any occasion. 10/10”

Easily accessible in a wheelchair, lots of space but difficult to find a staff member on the floor if I can't reach anything and no other customers around.Great quality suits, my son bought 2, and they were better fit and quality than M&S, Moss Bross and Next, and half the price too.Homewear great, keenly priced. Ladies clothes a bit miss for me as I'm tall as the trousers and sleeves are too short on me.We always get bedding and towels from here as they wash great and last ages.Hard to find a disabled parking space sometimes, but it's a shared car park so not their fault.”

“Did not find what I wanted, if there was something that made me want to leave the shop asap was the "music" inside the shop, I personally class that as noise, but I know you'll say it's a matter of taste, perhaps they want to attract the right (or the wrong) kind of customers for the type of stuff they sell, and the music is a deterrent for anyone else.”

“I normally review food places etc... but after my service here today from Luke I believe he's name was made me do the review.He went above and beyond when asking questions running around the shop helping me look for what I wanted. Managed to find the size I needed else where. I confronted about 3 members of staff at my visit and only he made the time and actually helped me although he was busy on he's own as the other staff was more having catch ups didn't want to help that much and just answered a question I had.Thanks Luka that store needs you.”

“Used the Merryhill store last night and only two checkouts with staff.This forces those that don’t really want to use the self-service into doing so.Then the CEO will crow that numbers show that self-service is most popular and reduce the normal staff service to customers. Just so wrong.”
