Pretty awful supermarket. You're very lucky if you can find a trolley and baskets are never available (always stacked up in self-service rather than at the front of the store). The shelves are always half empty and the whole store just feels a bit dirty. There's simply not enough staff and I feel sorry for the clearly overworked people working there. They've recently removed their dedicated customer service area so you now have to use the already too busy cigarette counter and unfortunately the staff here have not been trained at all. I tried to exchange an empty SodaStream gas canister for a new one, which is a service all UK Asda stores offer (you bring back the empty one, pick a new one off the shelf and get a discount for bringing back the empty which Asda send off to SodaStream). I've used this service at this store several times with no issues, but since they've removed the customer service area, the staff have absolutely no idea what they're doing, instead trying to charge me for two canisters and saying I need a receipt, which makes no sense whatsoever. I tried to explain the process to them but gave up after being stared at blankly for five minutes. It would take a matter of minutes to train the staff on this. Not the staff's fault that they haven't been trained, but shows a serious case of poor management. On top of the above, I'm actually finding that even Waitrose is cheaper to do my weekly shop. Asda are the worst when it comes to price gouging and their loyalty scheme is very poor.

The old woman with red hair tips at the service kiosk by the door today was rude. Just simple questions answered in such a poor manner.

I had really bad experience down there today. Very rude and unprofessional services At till. After that I went to customer service desk and there was so rude and unprofessional service?s. Then I decided to return all items and get refund so not to do shopping there. The person on the desk call someone else to take over and they came with very rude face and wasted my time. All because I had a voucher and I wanted to spend it. At the end not apologise no nothing.Definitely not willing to go back there and I will not recommend.

Alot is wrongStaff are rude, racist comments made to you yet I got the blame and staff member refused to let me leave the parking lot so I can get my sons glasses. They don't get back to you over a complaint. They just ignore you. Absolutely appalled

I have been shopping here for years & experienced out of date food so now I constantly check dates on everything; improved slightly. But now I have no idea what is going on but it's no longer a nice shopping experience. Everything is being moved about in the store food wise & nothing flows, nothing makes sense how the personal shoppers get on on a daily basis I've no idea; it's disorganised chaos. The person in charge of the store obviously has no clue about anything that is being done. The rice is by the milk, tinned produce by the biscuits....I am not getting everything I need from my weekly shop because I can't find everything....sort it out whoever is in charge! It's going to be coming up to silly season soon enough & you're going to have more shoppers & no one will know where anything is! Ridiculous layout & reorganisation! On the plus side most of the staff are friendly enough & nothing is too much trouble...that is the only plus side.

I visited the store yesterday at approximately 7:30 PM. My purpose was to buy a replacement iron since mine had recently malfunctioned. Upon entering, I encountered a young individual named Taran, whose assistance I sought. Taran turned out to be courteous and exhibited a high level of professionalism. Given that the Walsgrave Asda is not my regular shopping destination, I had several inquiries about the iron's location and any ongoing sales. Taran's expertise proved invaluable as he guided me through the store and answered all my questions patiently. Overall, my interaction with Taran was excellent, and I greatly appreciated his help

A good Asda. We don?t go to our local ones because they have deteriorated. This one is how we remember them. The fresh food looks good. And they have a nice little cafe upstairs

The cafe food is vile, I had pie, mash and peas. No gravy for the mash, a lot of the dough on the pie was uncooked and the other side was so overcooked it was difficult to cut the pasty. How is that even possible?Large sections of the produce aisles are often left empty, empty boxes often litter the store, tills are left unmanned and the self check-outs don't have enough staff to assist all customers. And despite having a very large car park many people use the Blue Badge parking without displaying Blue Badges and no action is taken. Why not enforce Blue Badge parking and donate the money to charity?
