Extremely slow. Waited over 20 minutes in a 3 person queue while one worker on a closed desk just sat there and stared into space. Gave up in the end

Went to the help desk to ask a quick question- a bit too in your face and over helpful.A happy medium always works well. Appreciate if a customer is clearly telling you they must go!

no one works at the customer bench yesterday I waited over 30 minutes for someone to come and when they are already working there is no competence. Ok they don't want my money it's hard I can handle it I won't cry

They were closed at 1pm on a Saturday day, when the official close time is 3pm. They probably out the shutter down and went to the pub ?.

Never any staff on. Often closed early or half day. Only one cash point inside and one paying in machine. Very slow at the counter.

Really unhelpful and rude staff... Keep you waiting for AGES.... Prefer to do the paperwork than actually deal with customers

I went in for some cash £300. The young lady behind the counter handed over the money without visibly counting it out for me which I thought was a bit strange. So I counted it myself in front of her before walking off. Good job I did because I was £20 short. She did apologize but you work out the conclusion for yourselves. Ummm just be careful people. Just count your money before you leave.

I visited the branch today and the customer cash counter was not available which is fine.However, as a customer I've not used the self service machine before so I asked for assistance but was refused. Its ridiculous that you have one member of staff in branch serving during a busy time! The unhelpful attitude of the customer service assistant & service provided by Halifax just makes the overall experience at the branch extremely poor!! Adding to the poor service, the seif service machine did not issue transaction receipts! Come on Halifax, you can do better then this!!!!

I was the only person being served, but they kept cutting me off and rushed me away, then went back to waffling about their colleague's garden. To close a dormant account I had to wait 15 minutes, apparently they couldn't do it at the counter which seems to be a glorified ATM. The person who closed the account was very helpful and personable however.

Charlotte from the coventry branch was very helpful, and friendly- we came in without an appointment to discuss our options with our mortage, she was very informative and explained all the options available to us and she set us up an appointment to disscuss things further with a mortgage advisor, so very happy with the service, thanks Charlotte!
