My dad had gone to change his lenses, so he left his glasses at the shop so they can change the lenses for him. Two weeks later. He goes there and ask them for his glasses back and they say that they don?t have it so I go to the shop next time and I tell them, my dad told me that you guys don?t have his glasses why and she was like oh I?m not sure but we don?t have it in the store I?ve looked around. I was like okay but you guys lost his glasses so now what so she goes through the bin I don?t know she apparently she said she found the papers that it was signed off like someone took it. Mind you she never showed me proof of the paper she apparently found but neither my dad or me or no one else in the family has gone to take his glasses off them so they?re just making it very hard, and they?re not helping at all so I had to call the head office and I told them about the issue And the manager at the store was being very hard to deal with as well. She was not trying to understand that it?s their fault that they have lost his glasses or take any responsibility so I told them that they need to give him a free glass or reimburse him because his glasses along with his frames and lenses were expensive they cost around £200-£300, so they gave him a Rayban glass which was around like £100 something and they still charge him £40-50 to get those glasses. My dad had to wait around 1-2 months to get glasses. I would not recommend going to this place. Rude staff.rude manager. Save yourself the hassle to deal with these people.

Very good place to buy glasses and contact lenses quality and service the staff are very good and helpful Charlotte Manager was excellent with us she is great at understanding what my son needed with the frame due to his vision she has always given us the best service to us and all our family thank you very much

i ordered glasses 8 days ago which was meant to be next day delivery. I still have not received my glasses which all I ordered was a frame. I already had the lenses. No communication. I ring the shop no answer. All staff are rude and have no manners.

Excellent service at the Vision Express store in Coventry West Orchards. Staff are extremely professional, listen to your requirements and so helpful.

04.10.23 stepped inside the premises. I must have done 2 or 3 steps inside, a rather loud female voice shouted, ?can I help you?? Lifted my eyes to the direction from where the shout came from, there was a group of about 4 people that looked like they were staff members. Noticed that the entire place were staring at me, included people that looked like they were customers. Shocked of the reaction I must have caused by entering this place., so decided to stop for moment, hoping I may be told it was closed. But the shouting voice repeats and this time a bit louder, ?how can I help you ?? As I was now looking at the person shouting at me. I noticed she unhappy and likely disgusted by my presence. Embarrassed, I calmly walked a few steps towards the woman who was still standing and staring at me as though I was some horrible disease. Had hoped that once I am closer and I have explained my eye test inquiry, the attitude would change. How wrong I was, the response was short sharp and rather dismissive of my presence, likely my existence! One of the women in the group observing, who looked sympathetic to what was going on to me, leaned over a desk and grabbed a card with info I needed, and gave it to me with eyes that were sympathetic, and I quietly left deflated and confused of what had just happened. As a black South African who grew up under the racist apartheid regime. And so as many black people around the world, if and when we are confronted with racism, we know. Even with all the past experiences of apartheid, the incident at the Vision Express in West Orchards - Coventry was still shocking!

Brought my friend here today to have his eyes checked. The receptionist?s attitude was terrible from the beginning, and I concluded that she must be racist. And misspell our names. And then blamed us for not spelling it right for her. I will never come back even though I am a regular customer of this optician. She never smile and be rude to us. Her name is charlotte . Never come here again.

Was in th store with my 4yr old g/daughter. A chap wtkn on a stall outside came in, banter with th staff, told them "I'm just gonna use your loo". Fine, no problem with that. I'm waiting to be seen and th 4yr old tells me she needs th loo... I tell th shop staff, they're OK with that. I go towards th instore toilet only to be told "you can't use this one, it's for staff only. "Well, says I.. . That chap isn't staff, you let him use it but you won't let a 4yr old use it. Get th usual, he works in th mall, healt an safety... bla blah. Not good vision express, not good at all. Left without completing my eye test and buying my £500 Oakley. Here I come specsavers

My nephew had a driving test for 2pm, had lost his glasses and Vision Express promised they'd have his new set for 11pm on the day of his test. They didn't! He couldn't take his test.Like I told him before, he should of went to Specsavers.

Extremely disappointed with vision express.On tesco website it says tesco colleagues can get free eye test at vision express by showing colleague clubcard. To confirm the same I had called customer service of vision express and the lady told me that I can get a free eye test at vision express.I even visited the shop in west orchards shopping centre to reconfirm and the staff over there told me the same that I am eligible for free eye test. So I booked the appointment for next day.After completing the eye test I came out and the guy told me to pay £25 so I showed him my colleague club card and told him it?s mention on website that I can get a free eye test. So he went to confirm it with some other staff member. After coming back he told me I have to purchase something for £50 to get a free eye test. None of these things were told to me when I went for inquiry nor on call. All of sudden they made a new rule. It?s not even mention on website. They are doing scam with people. I even told the guy that I had came here yesterday to confirm if I get a free eye test or not but he was not ready to listen and forced me to pay £25.Please don?t visit vision express, they are scamming people. I?ll never ever visit vision express again.

Reception staff are the top idiots of the world they raised their voice while talking to me on call, I was on time at location but couldn?t find exact location bcz location here showing is wrong & old which showing on corporation street so I called them 2-3 times to know the exact location but they pretended they can?t hear me such an unprofessional behaviour & I would say this people are just behind money zero service zero manners. Behaved like they are the only opticians in the world.

Ordered 2 pairs of glass after eye test not a problem so far.Informed frames in 18 days later starting the problem was informed it would only be 10 daysOK pop down to pick up wrong frames madeSent back 8 days later had a call there in .One pair ok but second was wrong frame but was informed it was my fault, but it was not the lady sent the order off.Collect a mouth after order but still one was the wrong frames but just had enough.NEVER GOT A ANSWER BACK TO LAZY TOO SAY SORRY TOTAL WASTE OF TIME NEVER AGAIN.....

Awful experience! Staff have no idea what there doing especially Alisha. I picked up a pair of sunglasses on the 3rd august & asked her to put them on the side so I could get them prescribed. Upon arrival on the 30th the lady at the front desk told me I had booked the appointment twice to which I explained Alisha had booked my appointment. After my eye test was done I told one of the staff Alisha had served me on the 3rd and had put my sunglasses on the side - Alisha denied I had to show a staff member myself where my own sunglasses were. When she realised she said Calvin Klein had stopped doing prescribed ones. What happened to phoning up customers and letting them know? The whole experience was awful. I waited for 4 weeks to get mine as they made a mistake.
