Started off fine, the design service were great and had some great ideas for our bathroom refit. Things went downhill from there, started off with problems with the delivery, finding items we'd ordered were out of stock and we were required to change them last minute.Problems really began when the fitting started. Discovered that Wickes sub contract out the fitting work (our bathroom fitting had been subbed out to landscape gardener!!) and our fitter had sub contracted this one step further. A 2 week job very quickly turned into 6 weeks as two different fitters walked off the job. We were then left with the original fitter who was from the landscape gardening company - we raised these concerns with Wickes on several occassions but nothing was done. At the end of the fitting period we were left with an unfinished bathroom - with a leaking shower - and a garage and driveway full of rubbish. To be fair to Wickes, once we showed them the damage they arranged for refitting to be done. This took 6 months to arrange so we were left with no bathroom for this period. We were assigned a much better fitter but the Wickes side was a real let down again, missed deliveries and damaged items (it took 3 delivery attempts to get some shower walls that were fit for purpose) once again led to delays in the work.Upon submitting a formal complaint we were left hanging for a long period of time before any form of compensation was offered, we needed ombudsman support to get anythign reasonable.Long story short, would not recommend

The external store design is completely inconsiderate of cyclists: no bicycle parking spaces, poor signage and the one-way exit point seems to go straight on to a massive busy road with no cycle infrastructure. A stressful place to get to and leave from. They don't seem to stock workwear in women's sizes, either.

Ordered products from Wickes. Some products were delivered others were not.I only noticed these product were not delivered on the delivery note. No email was sent after to rearrange, no email was sent before hand to say it was out of stock.I contacted on their website asking where it was. Took 3 days to reply to a simple message. But they didn't reply, they called me out the blue, no time was arranged for the call. I then call back to rearrange a redelivery a week later. But again they tell me the driver will call to arrange a delivery slot. So Wickes I should keep my phone at the side of me in case any time during the next week you might call me?Clueless to the needs of customers and businesses.

The only place I could find that had PVCu architrave for sale. Friendly and helpful staff, even had a chap run round the store looking for something I wanted due to a mixup with their stock display.

Was left for over 15 minutes waiting after a member of staff said they could mix paint for me. When I got frustrated and mentioned it the other members of staff weren't helpful in the slightest. I'll go to B and Q in future.

Waste of money and time. Their delivery driver broke my tiles and when I tried to return today at Coventry store their manager refused to accept as it as damaged on my property! Also when I returned 3 small grout bags myself in store they deducted delivery charges of £7 from refund. Never go here again, bad customer service.

Came here for kitchen planning etc. Callum has done a top job with us, patiently creating our design and making adjustments as we requested. He has tried to get the price down for us too. After some research it was showing the following after pros and cons:Magnet - High end, but u will pay for it.Wickes - Mid-High end with some styles limited in designHowdens - Mid-High end, quotes can take awhile to get to you and somethings can be missed offCallum has managed to get us 99% of what we wanted and have only had to compromise on 1 unit, which was due to the style we chose not having this feature.

First time customer - product was cheaper than Amazon, B&Q, Screwfix, etc. Click & Collect experience was quick and efficient - they were out of stock of the paint brush but substituted it for a better and more expensive one for the same price.

Fantastic place for your DIY needs. Only a few niggles. They need to signpost and perhaps paint lines for the Q for the checkout as I've waited where your supposed to only to have other people start queuing up at the wrong place and causing havoc by Q jumping. Also would be good to have all items priced as a few times I've picked up an item thinking it was like a tenner only to find it had been put back in the wrong place and it's 22 quid.. bit hard to spot the overprice when your buying multiple items.Online orders are picked and ready for you to collect in a quick time

Another one star review for Wickes fitted kitchens. Our experience is the same as many other reviews. Our upstands are completely saturated with water and our worktop is bubbled and warped at any point near water. Warranty is a joke and have spent 4 weeks of getting emails ignored and not receiving promised call backs. Looking for a new kitchen? Avoid Wickes!
