Service is awful, i?ve been accosted once before by the lady behind the desk because she thought I was about to steal a bottle of hairspray of all things. When I asked why she thought i?d do that she blamed the regulars in the store, whatever the hell that means. Rude and unhelpful when I?ve been since. Avoid and go to the high street instead.

I echo what the others have said about stating you are closed for lunch. Dont you read your reviews because you still haven't updated that your closed for lunch online. I made a trip here during my lunch break from work and was spoken to through the door by a very rude and unprofessional member of staff.If you do read this then update you are closed for lunch online and speak to your customers with respect.

What would be super helpful is publishing the correct opening hours. This pharmacy is SHUT between 1pm and 2pm.

Please update your opening times both on google results and the boots website. I made a special trip today and you?re closed for lunch 1-2pm.The member of staff that tapped on the window to the opening times came across very rude, please just speak to customers it?s only polite.

Closed for another 30 minutes past their advertised opening times?I arrived just before 2pm to wait for the 2pm opening after lunch, to pick up my prescription.As I waited the shutter was opened up a bit more to show a note on the door saying they won't be open until 2:30pm. I knocked on the door a couple of times and waited to check with a staff member if this was correct, but noone answered.I had checked their website for opening times because its an important prescription, but this seems to be a waste of time, as they seem to open and close whenever they want.I took time out of work to collect this today, but will have to return empty handed as I cannot wait another half an hour for their staff to have extra lunch time. Very disappointed.

Shires oak rd branch of Boots is the best. Not because it´s big and it has all you want but because this branch has the staff who are really kind and helpful.All the bestEZ

I would have given 1 star to this shop but I experinced excellent service before from the pharmacist and other old staff. It's just they employed the new staff who I found quite rude and uncaring. One particular staff does not seem to have customer service skills. My last issue with her was that she told me off for not wearing a face mask. OK, I understand that it is mandatory to wear the face masks in shops but with some exclusions. It is widely understood and recognised that some people are not able to wear a mask or face covering. But she did not seem to have such understanding. This may be due to disability (including ?hidden? disabilities) or for reasons where wearing a mask would cause severe distress to the individual. If someone is not wearing a face covering or mask, it should be assumed that there are legitimate reasons for this. IT IS NOT APPROPRIATE TO QUESTION why someone is not wearing a face covering or mask. the staff in question did not seem to have any understanding of this at all. She questioned me if I was exempted medically which I found even more offensive. On other, previous occasions she seems to have had just a rough approch to customers, but this time she really excelled herself!
