Awful experience with Asda and with the driver Chris from Chelmsley Wood in particular. Waited all day for my order and he cancelled at time of delivery saying that he?d been and I wasn?t in when my CCTV showed he hadn?t even came onto my road to deliver the order. 2 calls to the customer service team who basically told me there was nothing they can do despite leaving me with no food and no refund. So I then called Asda Chelmsley wood and once had the phone put down on me and the second time a lady answered and said she?d look into in and call me back within 15 minutes. 15 hours later and still no call back. So I called the customer services team again who wold My order says delivered. It?s awful customer service and I?ve had to email CEO and write a hand written letter to the head office. All customer service operators told me that my driver was tracked to my address however he didn?t even come into my road and I have CCTV to prove it. This is the second time this has happened and should it happen with this order I?ll be taking legal advice for discrimination as I see all other people on my road get their large orders no problem but it seems Asda allow their drivers to just cancel orders and leave families with no food or money, whilst being able to lie about attending the address. I?m sure the brothers that own Asda don?t expect customers to be treated like this and for drivers to be allowed to cancel orders that may be large because they can?t be bothered to bring it into the address. Asda needs to re train their staff to be aware of how it affects customers to be left with no food and no money to buy more. Effectively leaving people hungry and not processing the refunds quicker. Such a bad service and I pray that elderly people don?t get treated this way as it could mean them starving at the hands of t certain Asda delivery drivers

They should provide more adequate seating for their customers. Some of us have medical issues and need to sit & rest after the checkout or even before paying for the shopping.

Bare with me, its long, but you will not believe this! So i booked my elderly disabled mother?s christmas shopping delivery slot weeks ago. (I am unable to do her shopping physically as I work in the care industry and am working all over the christmas period, also live 30+ miles away).Should have been delivered between 2&3pm today, had a text to say they were running an hour or so late, understandable, as its is christmas! Over 2 hours later and still no delivery! I called the main helpdesk number to be told the driver could not find the address, (they confirmed the drivers do have sat navs!) They then proceeded to tell me the order has therefore been cancelled, and the money had been returned to my account! No help as to having it redelivered, just they were trying to call the Chelmsley Wood branch for around 12Omins whilst I held on the phone. During this time I was also waiting to speak to a supervisor, who were apparently all busy. I then called the chelmsley wood branch using another phone (still waiting on main number). I spoke to a woman, who confirmed my order had indeed been cancelled. She apologised and informed me there were delivery slots tomorrow, that was basically all the help I was given. Couldnt even just transfer the order that was suposed to come today onto a slot tomorrow for me. Was told I had to start again ie book my own slot, start my shopping again etc. So I go to website, to my suprise, NO DELIVERY SLOTS available for tomorrow! I then had to book a slot for sunday, in panic, so my mother had some shopping for christmas. Due to my lack of confidence in the customer service I somehow managed to get a delivery with tesco for tomorrow!!! (Btw was around £15 cheaper too) I then went back and cancelled my asda order i had rearranged for sunday.I checked my bank account, Asda had not refunded any money, will take 3-5 days apparently! My mother then called to say the asda delivery man had hust knocked her door with her shopping???? Having already told my mother the delivery had been cancelled she turned the driver away without excepting the shopping, This was 6 hours after original delivery time!So not only do they think it is Okay to potentially allow an elderly disabled women not to have any shopping over Christmas, they have taken over £100 from my bank account, that they will not refund for 3-5 days and then think its okay to knock her door, unanounced at 8pm at night!! Merry Christmas to those responsible ?I have made a formal complaint on telephone regarding my poor experience, they were supposed to call me back within 24hrs, thats was thursday 28th December!!!!! Laughable, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Warning to you all do not bother using the Asda pre order for Christmas turkeys for delivery from Asda Chelmsley Wood!Last year my shopping arrived and I suddenly realised the turkey crown hadn't been delivered. Customer services said they would give me a refund I said I don't need a refund I need my pre ordered turkey crown. I was told she would speak to the store and call Me back. They never rang. I then had to ring after Christmas for a refund. They assured me they would look into it and take it seriously. This year my shopping arrives and the driver says have I given you your turkey crown I said no, he said sorry I don't have it, it's been left at the store!Customer services again said they would call me back and checked my phone number and never rang. The whole idea of a pre ordered item is that you don't have to worry about items being in stock. I get that mistakes happen but they don't even try and fix it they just say we will refund you.... That leaves me without a turkey for Christmas. They obviously hadn't learnt from last year as they have done it 2 years in a row!I will be advising everyone not to use Asda for Christmas as I would hate for others to be treated the way I have been.

Been using this branch since it has opened, now the place is so dirty, staff not helpful if you can find a member of staff. And as for the responses from the owners on the reviews that have been written you can tell there not interested. No wonder people are using other supermarkets.

Asda home delivery is just THE worst. Out of a £100 shop only 30% of my shopping was delivered, just the cupboard items. We thought the driver was going back to the van to get the rest of our shopping. But he never came back. 6 x chicken, 4 x mince beef, all the salad and fresh pasta salad for work lunch, cheese, everything fresh basically and everything I need to cook a meal. I spoke to customer service straight away who were no help. Eventually I was transferred, without being told, to another person who eventually called the Chelmsley Wood Asda Store and told me he spoke to the manager. I made it clear without the meat and fresh items I was unable to cook dinner and as this was over a weeks worth of shopping we would be with out food and I didn?t want a refund just the shopping I had ordered, even offered to go and collect it. But alas, these appears impossible when they don?t deliver your shopping!! I was told the manager said he would call me as soon as the driver was back. This was 6pm. But nothing, I ended up having to order food on my credit card for the family to eat as it was so late. This morning I have followed the instructions, marked all the items in the app not delivered as missing, and requested a refund. I then got an email to say the refund has been rejected which meant another hour on the phone and still no food. I?ve been told as she has the list of missing items a refund will be put through and I will hear from the payment team in the next 48 hours. The refund then still needs to be issued. I?m left in the mean time with no food to feed my family and no refund to be able to do any more shopping. To leave a family like this is disgusting. The staff don?t care, customer services are not bothered and either transfer you to someone else or transfer you to a line that just rings out then finally says ?there is nobody to take you call? and then cut you off, so you have to call again and go through the whole thing again with someone else. The manager of the store doesn?t care and doesn?t even bother calling back when promised to do so, so I?m now left with no meat, or fresh food which included lunch box stuff for my kids and husband. Absolutely disgusting, I am gutted I have gift vouchers left via a hamper company that I thought would help over the Christmas period as I?m forced to have to use them at Asda again when in reality I would rather go to a supermarket that cares about its customers and doesn?t steal food from them and then withhold customers money preventing them buying replacements. Will not be saving for Asda vouchers ever again, what a waste of money, I aste of time and a whole heap of stress trying to get it all sorted.
