Renting review - Solihull/Knowle as for the moment is the same teamOn short: everything that could go wrong with renting a property in the first month went wrongGarden: beautiful private garden surrounded by tall bushes on sides and trees in the back.First month: our gardener will contact you, we appointed him to cut the bushes at fence level(half) - bye bye private garden & good looking garden. No questions, consultation or communication - just a noticeLounge: "lounge with gas fire" described in add, not large, but cozy looking . Confirm when we went to visit and we were told will workFirst month: we try to open the fire, does not work. We contact them and the answer is that it didn't work in years - leaks gas and material fitted around it is not safeInternet:Before signing the contract: their moving hub - sure you can have internet from Vodafone, we book installationDay we move in: we try to reconfirm was ok via email - no responseDay before the internet was booked in: we go in person ? they tell us a specific paper is required, we ask if they can ask the landlord without that -no!. Vodafone - you'll have to book again, next available spot - 3 weeks = 1 month without any broadband. BTW, almost all consultants from Vodafone had no idea what that was and asked me to just call the landlord ? wish I could.Inventory: contains even a bag of dirt and a rusty bike, visibly not functional and unused for years = is ok, tenants can keep the trash safeContract: filled with (if applicable), not clear and with no terms, just laws. Should we ask a LETTING agency which are the legal terms for notice?Not sure if it matters, but we have not negotiated the rent - we like the house and took it. Still to go this wrong... and first month didn't end yet...At this point I really regret I choose an agency over a landlord - both me and my wife we were so happy when we moved in..

Had a great experience being looked after by Kay. Kay has been great in answering any questions I have had very quickly and has been in regular communication since the viewing and throughout the process of the house purchase. Would definitely highly recommend. Thank you Kay.

Worst experience with them !They wasted my too much time, they called me for viewing and in the end they don?t have the property ! Such a worst company !Never recommend

We were impressed by the professionalism and level of service provided by Jordan Bassett who we feel went over and above what we expected in respect of our sale. We believe that without his hard work the chain would probably have broken down and he more than anyone else drove the sale through to completion, dealing with issues and communicating with us every step of the way. Highly recommended.

Never will I ever deal with Hunters again. It?s never open when they say they are. After showing interest in a property to let 4 weeks ago, ringing several times and being told we will be will be able to view the property. Only to find out many people came to view this property today and we were not invited for a viewing. The new Branch Manager was unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend Hunters to anyone looking for a home!

I experienced a lack of professionalism, I rang numerous times, I then managed to get through to sales, who were going to redirect me to letting, they stated they had one person only to attend the phones on the letting side. I enquired in relation to a property I was told it was most likely put on rent. I can?t see the purpose of wasting time in ringing for a property and not being able to get through and then to be simply told without in my opinion a thorough check to see the availability of the property that it is unavailable for rent. I feel the response I was given was just a way to stop me consuming their time, I don?t think the staff were keen to check or enquire at all about the property. I feel any competent and professional company would make liaising with possible clients a priority and would be keen to have an up to date list of properties available for rent or sale. I feel it doesn?t deserve the one star but to write the negative review I had to give the bare minimum sadly.

Excellent service from the lettings team, James, Jo, Molly, Oksana and Kelly at Hunters in expediting decoration of the property throughout. The marketing efforts in letting the property were also efficient in reducing void periods.
