We really enjoyed our stay at The King's Arms and we will definitely book it again in future when visiting the area. The building and decor was stunning and very inviting. It was easy to book food at the restaurant. The woman who met us as reception was very friendly and helpful and explained everything well. The room was lovely, small but cosy, very comfy, clean and decorated beautifully. The food at the restaurant was delicious, service was great and friendly and very accommodating. 10/10!

Although our room was small it had everything we needed, comfy bed, the decor was very modern and tastefully decorated.I paid for breakfast in our booking although I was quite happy to have the full English my wife would have liked to have had a bowl of porridge and a piece of toast and marmalade but was told she could only have one option which seems expensive having paid full price ahead but have to say the breakfast was beautifully cooked and nice quality ingredients, so don't blame the chef for my score.. Better quality toilet paper would be appreciated as a guest. Otherwise super stay lovely staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly well done.

A great disappointment. My family visited from Wales and we took them out for a meal. Table was booked for 14:30, ready when we got there. We ordered and our food didn't arrive until 16:00, meals 10 minutes apart. Apparently they got busy but despite pre booking our order had been pushed to the back. They kindly gave us 50% off our main meals but to be honest they were only just worth the half price cost and they'd added items we hadn't had to the bill. My brother got two mouthfuls of one of the meats on his trio meal, even the hostess checked he hadn't hidden any on his plate, there were very little vegetables served with the meals which could have been a cheap and cheerful bulk up. The vegan burger was dry with a salad that consisted of a handful of rocket and two large chunks of carrot and four wedges of pickle on the side, no chips or any taste bar the burger sauce. Apart from being dog friendly and having a nice atmosphere, I'd recommend popping in for a drink, but avoid dining, it's awful and we were embarrassed to have booked it.Food & drinks: Drinks are expensive but it's a nice atmosphere, food it also very expensive and not worth the cost.

In a fantastic location this place has it all from great food drinks rooms service views. Plenty of parking and Room for seating. The staff are friendly and helpful and the price for food and drinks and good. It's a must try place enjoy.

I found the stay brilliant! The room was very small but for the price I paid I was more than happy. I only used the room to lay down and watch some tv before sleeping so the size wasn?t an issue. I think if I had come with my wife it may have been a bit more of an issue but travelling alone for work it?s perfect for my needs at a very fair price. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom which also helps. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great nights sleep! Will definitely use you guys again should I be in the area!

First time stay and was very impressed with the hotel room. We had a small double room which was certainly compact but had all we needed. The room was spotlessly clean, especially the bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet and facilities all good.We ate in the bar area at night, and while the food was ok we felt it was very overpriced. We opted for one of the cheapest items, a plant burger, which was £15.95 without chips! It was nothing special, and served in a brioche bun with a bit of salad. The wine was also expensive.Overall we?d stay again but would likely eat elsewhere.Rooms: Spotlessly cleanFood & drinks: Overpriced
