“The venue was booked for private dining to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. It was a fabulous day, the food was amazing and Lian, Amy and the team looked after us so well. “Just had an evening meal as we were staying elsewhere. The set meal was very good and the waitress service equaled the food ?. Shame that no Dijon mustard/French mustard was available and I was a bit surprised that there was a surcharge of £4 for having steak on the "set" menu. Prices for the beer should be made known when ordering drinks.Food & drinks: The food was well prepared but I was a little disappointed that only one meagre over cooked mushroom accompanied the steak and chips.”

“It is now called Hockley House and has been for about 5 years. I have had a very pleasant stay. Great staff that can't do enough for you. The breakfast was aplenty and evening meals didn't fail to deliver on quality, taste and reasonable ”

“A really super shop. In my opinion, you need to spend some time in this store having a really good look around as the grest buys aren't always easy to find. I partirecomnend bedding, towels and storage. Parking is not onside but nearby. Store is in 2 levels, 1st floor is accessed by lift or escalators.”
