Prices hv risen very much. I used to pay £35 for a walk in . I had a voucher for £7.50 off. So I booked. For a trim wash and blow dry It was £48.50 !!!!after £7.50 discount. Nice place and convenient. But too expensive for me now .Service: Hairstyling

Expensive disappointment! My usual hair salon were fully booked for this day and after reading the reviews for Regis Solihull and feeling unsure, I decided to call them to ensure I had a highly experienced stylist. I should have taken heed from the reviews but I was assured that the stylist is the salon trainer and I would be in their best hands.I asked for all my layers to be cut back into shape as my hair had grown very long. What I ended up with is a trim as my layers have barely been cut. I am always asked what sort of blow dry I would like but the stylist chose to curl it so the layers weren?t noticeable until I got home and they had fallen out to reveal unshapely hair. My stylists also always trim my layers after the blow dry for perfect definition leaving a very professional finish. The cut I had is very amateur and for £56 a very costly mistake.I was sent a text to recommend the salon and I explained my annoyance. No response or offer to recut was offered. Will definitely not be returning. The two stylists who received all the positive reviews here have both left the salon.Service: Hairstyling

I was looking for a new hairdresser having moved to Shirley, and read the reviews about Regis which seemed OK. I booked a 4pm appointment online and had it confirmed by email. The cost was £52 for a cut and dry and I paid a £26 deposit.I left work early to attend and arrived at the salon, both stylists were busy, one washing hair and one blow drying.One came over and asked if she could help, I explained that I had a 4pm appointment.She looked v.confused by this and went over to speak to her colleague who was washing a client's hair.I over heard this stylist say "... just tell her she'll have to wait...".The first stylist then returned to say that they weren't able to do the 4pm appointment and that I would need to wait, no apology, and was very blasé.I explained that I had booked for 4pm and had left work to attend the appointment. She shrugged and said there was nothing she could do. I asked how long the wait would be and she said at least half an hour as her colleague was with a client and she ..."wasn't able to do it".The second stylist had only just finished washing her client's hair so I was in for a much longer wait.I was very frustrated by this and so asked for them to refund my deposit and I would try my luck elsewhere.The stylist said that they were unable to refund the deposit as I had booked on the app, I would need to claim a refund through the app.I left and tried to claim my money back on the app and it had no record of my booking.I tried both Regis customer service numbers, neither even connect.Eventually I was able to email and have now had my money back.For £52 a cut I expect to be treated far better than this.Regis there is too much competition in Solihull for your staff to be this rude and unhelpful.

I had a much needed cut and blow dry with Kiera. So relaxing I almost fell asleep! She gave me some really helpful information about hair styling my new cut without any attempts to upsell products. She was so lovely and I came out with exactly what I wanted.I look forward to my next visit.
