Was a little disappointed in the vegetarian options as my friend only had 1 main meal to choose from. Otherwise a lovely evening.

Stumbled on this place on return from viewing a venue nearby.Very busy in a Sunday lunchtime.Staff did accommodate us though, for which we were grateful. (Table for 3)Food was nice BUT do not recommend the Prawns with Sourdough...Prawns came shell on with finger bowls.Absolute nightmare to peel.Sourdough lovely though.Drinks too sweet. Ordered 2 Mocktails - proportion of ingredients didn't seem balanced.Wouldn't necessarily go again though, based on today's experience.

This is lovely pub ,it has a fabulous atmosphere good food and looks stunning. All the makings of a hood night out. It even has open fires, which is a winner with me.

it was monday, but even so. I have been dining every few moths at the boot in lapworth for 30 years or more. I have never known it so quiet. there was absolutely no buzz. but even without a house full of customers, the service was slow. we had to collar a waitress as she served another table before we could even order a drink. the food was not very interesting. the prawns appeared to be pre cooked and dumped into some flavoured oil. the scallops were fine but accompanied by some very dry bacon bits that looked as though they had been around for a while! the ragout was very boring served without any sort of garnish although it tasted ok. the lamb however looked lovely. it is a shame that it turned out to be tough and dry. it was all such a disappointment, especially as my previous visits have generally been so good. I don't think I shall be going again any time soon.

Very cozy place for wine & dine. I personally love marquee seating. I always order potato wedges here!
