My local bank at Halesowen has closed. Enquired re my nearest bank and was given wrong information by a global number based in India! Disgusted.

Doesn't have a counter service. Literally the main reason why people go into branch in the first place.This branch has clearly done everything it can to be as unhelpful as possible.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Horrendous experience, cleared mortgage with them and then they took months and months to release the charge. Took nearly ten visits to branch and threat of legal action to get them to lift it. AVOID.

Awful customer service, constantly been given wrong information, reluctance to help with queries instead directed online when said service does not exist on line. Either staff are extremely lazy or highly incompetent. Staggering how such a straight forward task has turned into such an ordeal. I would strongly recommend not using HSBC, particularly this branch in any way shape or form. Terrible branch, avoid at all costs unless you want to make countless unnecessary visits and deal with highly apathetic, disinterested staff.

Consistently awful staff and services. Light years behind other banks. Can't even be bothered to change their status online to closed, just a sign on the door saying closed until further notice.

Came in to deposit £625 at the counter, while I was not paying attention the cashier explained I was £125 short. I knew for a fact there was £625 there in total however she was adamant I was short! I asked for the manager and miraculously she found £100 on the floor?? I still have not received my £25 which she stole! She told me the manager was busy and to leave my number behind so the manager can call me back, however IT WAS THE SAME LADY WHO SERVED ME THAT CALLED ME. She is a thief! I have made a complaint to the complaints team and I hope she gets investigated before she steals anyone elses money.

Held on for 20 minutes to speak to customer services, who promptly told me they could not help as I had to go into branch, explained I had been advised I could go through to Power of Attorney department and register on line and would take half an hour. The representative said this was not possible!!!. So I asked to be put through to Stourbridge, she told me the branch was not in her directory of phone numbers. and if I had account holder with me she could speak to me, as he is in hospital having had 2 legs amputated i explained this was impossible, hence I needed the power of attorney department.Eventually after holding on for another 5 minutes she told me she would send an email and ask them to contact me.Customer services stinks!!!!! glad I don't bank with HSBCDon't want to give any stars, however it will not allow me to post anything unless I click on a star! con! not worth even half a star

Was great but they have recently made the carpark staff only - that was one of the best things about the place - being able to park. It's now a real inconvenience just to go to the bank.
