Good choice, great staff, just a bit expensive

This is a good convenience store. Prices are not cheap for a lot of food. You can find some bargains if you go in late afternoon. They are selling small pots of Rodda's Clothed Cream, (at the moment), for £1.25 a pot. They do sell some fruit, vegetables, and potatoes. They also sell sandwiches and other foods for lunches. They have a coffee machine too. I think this is a new service, but they have a Hermes point for parcels. Not sure if that is to send or receive parcels. I do like their fresh bakery products, but they are not the cheapest. There are some frozen foods as well. They do sell some cat and dog food too. They have got their own brand of mince pies in, as well as other festive foods in. Worth having a look at.?\\n\\nVisited November 2022. Like other shops, prices have increased.\\n\\nBe aware that there may be a problem with goods on the shelving not being accurately priced.\\n\\nStore assistants are not keeping up with checking items are where they should be. I was going to buy a bakery product that would have been fairly cheap. However, (especially if like myself, you can't see prices without your reading glasses), I wasn't sure if I had got the price information correct.\\n\\nI did ask the one assistant who was working nearby if that was the correct price, and they told me it wasn't. If I had picked up and paid for the item, it would have been 55p or 60p more than the price on the shelf where it was. The assistant said the original item was out of stock.\\n\\nCo-operative shops are not the only shops that do this. That is, put either a more expensive version of the same item, or a different item on the shelf when they are out of stock of the original item.\\n\\nHowever, if you don't check that the price for that item is correct before you buy it, you will probably be paying more for an item than you expected to pay. Just because the item on the shelf is in the wrong place.\\n\\nI also saw that there were no prices displayed for some frozen foods either. I think the price labels had fallen off.\\n\\nAnd 1 item I did buy was not priced correctly, so (on the till receipt), it showed I had paid more than the price displayed on the shelf.\\n\\nIt is probably a good idea to check (or query) prices for goods that you are not sure about.\\n\\nI don't think that shops should be putting any item that is more expensive somewhere else to fill up a shelf just because one item has sold out. It makes it misleading.

Good store. Bit too pricey and it is also a pain to get in and out of the car park. Don't like having to ask the staff if I can borrow a trolley as they are now round the back due to thieves trying to pinch them.
