Opening hours are ridiculous

Waiting to recieve a tracked parcel since the 19th january 2024 to today 8th Febuary 2024, the parcel is stuck in the system going around and around but after many many phone calls to their call centre and other numbers found on the web still no luck.I've been told by the call centre "that the parcel is in an automated system and humans don't touch the parcels"....What ?The parcel has been received by North West Midlands MC and never forwarded then a update that the same mail centre recieved the same parcel again a few hours later ...WOW it never left but it was received twice on the same day.When I visited the Mail Centre ,I was told "NO CARD NO ENTRY"...Then I was told that " I could be a terrorist"...So a Royal Mail failed delivery card gives you exemption from being a terrorist.When I asked the call centre for the Head Office Phone Number the reply was "They don't have phones".....How stupid.My conclusion is simple...The Royal Mail can deliver wrong addressed letters and scam letters with No Problems (Which are not touched by humans according to their staff). But they can't deliver a parcel that they have had in their system for more than 20 days.

Does the postman actually knock the door? Been in front room both times but only 'non delivery' card appears. Last time left porch door open, still got a non delivery card!

Can't fault this place - I returned a parcel around 2 weeks ago, never been here before. Nice lady serving and she was only working alone!! She did my return quickly and was polite!! I would definitely do a return here again.?

The Royal mail is an amazing service for the amount of letters and parcels they have to deal with however I was disappointed and very frustrated that I had come to collect my missed parcel but the office was closed between 10am and 4pm. There was a lot of information on the card I was left-except the opening times rendering my journey through Christmas traffic an absolute waste of time ( I was there at 13 :50). I get they will be more busy than usual at this time of year but then so are many, many members of the public. At least print the most current opening times on the card that is being left for people. I know I missed my parcel but sometimes it can't be helped especially at this time of year.

There is nothing Royal about this mail. My wife had her right to stay and we waited for her BRP card to arrive after waiting days they never delivered so we visited twice only to be told they lost it. The lady then told me to get another one like I have a direct line to the home office and to get another knocked up. This place is a joke and judging by the reviews I'm not the only one to be messed around. Come on guys I know the Queen passed away but did you guys die with her??

So they've changed their open times but haven't updated them on the delivery cards? You're telling me not a single person has noticed this and they continue to drop these off not realising it? Great job.Also, how the hell is anyone supposed to pick up parcels if they work full time with these open hours? What a joke.

Had a card through the door for non delivery 11th december, stating opening times were 6:30 - 19:30 to collect from the delivery office.. So let the rush hour traffic go and got there at 11am to find it closed with new opening times from JULY of 8-10am and 4-6pm. This is ridiculous. Why are the cards times so out of date and why are the times during g the busiest traffic times around the cities roads.

Royal Mail delivery men have failed to deliver my parcel 5 times now because "I wasn't in" when I was. They DON'T knock the door and vanish after 10 seconds. Catching them is like catching pokemon except HARDER. I practically am waiting at the door & watching the cameras yet they NEVER EVER DELIVER THE PARCEL. I wish I could choose the courier because then I would never choose Royal Mail again. Worst service on Planet Earth.

Tried to ring main depo as i had email saying saying tried to deliver my parcel well i stayed in and nothing arrived didnt get a card either saying they tried to deliver my item , so i tried to ring them to see what happening about my item and they couldnt be bothered to answer the phone kept playing classical music what a poor service you are an absolute joke royal mail you are if i could i wouldnt even give them 1 star ???

Their delivery service is soo poorWhenever I order something from online the delivery guy/woman will lie to put on a update system that they tried to deliver but was unattempted and put it on a system that I missed my delivery which is not true I?m always home whenever I knew my parcel will be delivering ?this ain?t fair at all meanwhile I got a doorbell whenever Evri company has to deliver my parcel they always press my doorbell to come for it ?royal mail doesn?t put any red book if it?s truly that the delivery person missed you for your parcel ..it makes the collection soo stressful ?something needs to be done about this?it?s not once or twice?because I hardly write negative review but this must be enough! How can a delivery person lies all the time? It really buffles me ..u don?t ring doorbell! U don?t put red card as well and u just update it on a system that the person missed it whiles in the day whole day waiting for my parcel smh .

Unfortunately I have had a rough time with this specific sorting office, my main issues are with Royal Mail , I live in a apartment where a concierge is on hand 24/7 to collect parcels, thankfully I was tracking my parcel on the app to know it?s whereabouts, over the course of 48 hours on the days allocated on my app for my parcel to be delivered a Royal Mail Driver did not even attempt to visit my apartment building on both days and no red card was given to me to find my nearest collection point. I was extremely disappointed as these clothes were ordered in plenty of time for my holiday, when I had looked on the app and rang customer service they said this specific office had my parcel. The opening times were shocking 8-10am and 4-6pm which makes it very difficult if you are working! I visited firstly with my passport on my mobile phone, which I later understood was not valid, I immediately returned home with my physical valid uk passport and bank card as the lady requested, upon returning she said my valid passport ID wasn?t enough as well as my bank card, she said I needed a letter with my address on I was disappointed as I could not return again the same day because of the opening hours, and the next day my flight was at 10am in Birmingham. I now understand that proof of my address was not needed, the lady was extremely difficult and cold , I took several trips to the office to be denied something that could have been resolved. Unfortunately I could not collect the clothes I ordered to my home address and bring them with me on my holiday. I am very disappointed with how I was treated.
