Staff member has seen me in here before I?ve always been id and they have accepted it until the 29th of December 2023 when a female staff member that looks way younger that me said she won?t accept it and treating me like a child ands making me feel disrespected in a place I was coming to have a good time infront of my friends absolute joke.

The most reliable of Arundel's pubs in terms of service and quality. Never empty, which is a good thing (dead pubs are weird). Some fantastic live music. Decent food. Good drinks selection. Large beer garden in the summer. Cosy fireplace in the winter.

Popped into this inviting pub for a quick drink during a New Year break in Arundel and liked it so much we decided to stay for dinner. We were glad we did as the food was all really good - well above the usual pub fare. Having tried most of the pubs in Arundel during our stay this was the one we kept going back to. Good music too.
