A stupid staff member in Asda contradicted herself today. Waited over half an hour to purchase shopping. Had 4 bottles of beer in the trolley, Wife with me. Cannot sell you the alcohol as the lady with you looks under 25 years old even though she's over 18 and your not allowed to drink alcohol unless your 18 and over. Would not sell me the beer, contradiction. If a dad went in to buy beer whilst having his 15 years old son or daughter with him, would the asda staff member ask for the 15 year old ID even if the beer is for the father? Of course not. Stupid bloody person wrson

Not shopping at ASDA for a couple of weeks due to their new restricted car parking policy. Shopping+McDonalds do go well above 2 hrs and not willing to accept £120 parking fine. Sainsbury's and Tesco are more friendly to me now and shoping at those places instead.

At asda we are able to get food items of all kinds, kitchen items of every kind, shoes, clothes and a lot of other things of our daily need from one place.

I am pregnant and I was really craving this one specific cheese, me and my husband went there to get it and they didn?t have any of that cheese on the shelf. My husband asked one worker there and he went in the back and got a whole box for us! Thank you so much, the staff is always very friendly and helpful!

Absolutely horrible store and experience! Rate this less than 1 star worse Asda ever. The alarm went off as I was leaving the store the security guard came over to check. I had two receipts as half the shopping was for work and half for home. I found one receipt in my purse but I put the other one in the bag in the trolley. Another security guard came over both emptying out my trolley refusing to speak to the cashier from the till I had just left. Found my other receipt and turns out it was their cashier that left a security tag on my shopping (on shaving gel)! I was totally embarrassed as the manager also came over and treated me like a thief when I didn?t take anything! To top it off my parking went over as they spent ages searching through a full trolley and made an absolute scene with everyone was looking at me which made me burst into tears. I now can?t get hold of them have tried to call several times to pay for the parking ticket or at least give me a voucher for the amount.

Visited the store on the 9th of December and as I left and attempted to register my proof or payment for my car park ticket, all the machines were out of order. I returned inside the store to notify an employee who advised as they were broken I did not have to register my car.I have now received a fine, have attempted to call the store on multiple occasions. I can not find any other means of contact so have now had to write this review. Not ideal being out of pocket before Christmas, having to spend time attempting to get my money back and being stressed out about this all.I would appreciate someone from Asda contact me to help resolve this situation.

The meat is something unbearable. Months ago , the last time I went there, I bought some pork steak. Meanwhile was in the pan the smell of really bad quality that was kind of artificial stuff, made me throw it in the bin. The beef shrink 50% and it is like chewingum: the more you chew the more you cannot swallow. I like only the whole milk long life in that shop that really taste of milk. Then I don't remember when , I parked there 2 hours and half a sunday about 4.20pm, I went to pay and my numberplate wasn't in the system. The machine told me if i want pay 1.50 or 2.50 (actually I don't remember the amount exactly) but I didn't remembered when I entered so i sent the machine the the hell and i went home. Few weeks after i received a 40£ fine. So basically my numberplate wasn't in the system when I wanted to pay but was in the system to make the fines. I asked to cancel the fine they treated me like and illiterate because they told me there are plenty of boards explaining how to pay. What the hell your computers were clearly malfunctioning and you put the blame on me???? Absolutely not reliable system.Bah....Now I don't park anymore there, I am buying the meat in horsham in a proper butcher and the vegetable in a turkish shop that is also very good taste .

Good selection of items here, was very busy for paying though would recommend using scan and go.

Came in after 8pm one evening and only one lady on the check outs. She was about to close but still let me through, and with a massive smile. Just such a lovely lady and really made my day!

The worst pharmacy I've been to. Huge queue of people to be served. Over 3/4 hour wait for a pharmacist to take a box off a shelf. Dreadful.

This is a particularly grim Asda compared to others (which are generally ok). It?s worth a visit to see just how bad it is. Asda head office should review this store, in particular the staff and management as it?s somewhat of a joke. Its dark and dingy, the scan and go handsets - a couple of dirty handsets can usually be found at the unwelcoming entrance. Which is cluttered anyhow. But really special mention should go to the awful awful self checkout staff. Today I met two members of staff at the ?scan and go? tills. Only 2 tills were operating as the two female staff members meandered around lazily, one was not even able to communicate - she would just ?grunt?. Really poor Asda, send some secret shoppers in and see what an absolute farce your employees are.

The staff is mostly nice, which is great. My main issue here is the cut fruit. I do not think is kept in the right shelves, it should stay in the cool shelves. The cut fruit is kept in the normal shelves and when you buy it the fruit always taste as it has gone bad.

My son was in Spain and ran out of money and I was trying to top up his Asda money card for him but was having problems. The lovely lady in the money kiosk, I believe her name was Helen Taylor, was so kind and helpful. She went out of her way to help me and we managed to send him the money. I want to thank her for her outstanding service. She is a real credit to your company.
