“I had a long list of things to buy and short of time and was very pleased when 3 staff members ended up running here and running there to find everything i needed.It was such a help as some of the products were now slighttly different in the package design and also price.They were very enthusiatic and charming which is a pleasure to see nowadays and definately made the whole experience less stressful.Also the people on the checkout were still cheerful and helpful even though the shop was closing and there was a big queue.”

“Nice shop except that there is no room for a person with a disability to enter - too much stock in the way. Also no short sizes - 25" leg would encourage me to buy clothes. I am only 5' 2" and everything is for 5' 10" and above. Majority of bigger ladies are around 5'4".”

“I called Smyth's in Crawley a week or so ago as friends overseas who we were flying out to visit wanted a certain toy for their baby. Very few in stock in entire country and no stores with click and collect. Maddie who I spoke to went onto the shop floor and put one by so my husband could pick up on route to work clients, as he was passing.The next day staff were quick to point him in the right direction and they tested the toy with new batteries as the demo ones were not working.Top class service so thank you to all at the store. And just to say that our friends baby is totally made up with his Tickle me Elmo!”

“Good availability all round, although range selection is limited compared to larger supermarkets. Prices are slightly higher, but that's due to a more premium quality.”
“Great selection of clothes and household goods at reasonable prices. Kids selection really good, including for tiny babies. Quality of the clothes is good and the homeware stuff lasts and often sales or offers on Good amount of parking, although shame no parent and child spaces. Tills are now mainly self service, which does mean fewer staff around, leading to delays if need assistance, or want to do a click and collect.”
