First time in maybe ten months or more since I had visited. I remarked how nice it still is to actually have a proper full physical branch of the bank to venture into again. I was needing to get an account printout for necessary supply to a government department. Helpful staff assisted me here as I couldn't remember exactly where I was headed to in order to complete my set task. Directing me where I should head to. Odd how easily one forgets. After all those years ago going back pre Covid Pandemic times, when I would often regularly use this branch when passing through Haywards Heath. Either for an account print out or cash machine access. Many thanks. Missing my East Grinstead branch and my local staff very much I told them here. Familiar faces over the years.

Though we saw a lovely lady who was friendly and as helpful as was in her power to be, Barclays bank overall is so poor at problem solving that's its become quite the joke.

Went to the bank on the 7th of November to deposit check using their machine as I was instructed to use it and check was deposited only the money being taken back by the bank again when I called I was told that there was an issue with the machine and the check could not be read properly and check will arrive back to me by post now January check is nowhere to be seen and issue still not resolved. I have send numerous times waiting on the phone still not able to get resolution for my issue

Barclays has gone downhill especially if your not happy with banking apps or need proper in branch help. The range of savings accounts is poor and like most financial institutions interest rates for savers do not got up anywhere as quickly as borrowing rates do!Staff are still good in branch but seem to lack some autonomy to work outside of algorithms set by the bank.Personally after 30 yrs I think I will change to another bank that is more concerned with ordinary not institutional customers.

Always a huge queue for business banking, only one member of staff working behind the counter, but plenty of staff in the branch????? Business banking counter is used by all barclays customers. Burgess Hill branch closed down recently, barclays as a business should have been prepared for a higher footfall in Haywards Heath. The ladies that work within the branch are lovely but Barclays head office/ higher management are the ones who make the customer experience poor

Do never consider having an account at Barclays. They are the worst bank ever ! Cannot access my account for 6 months, do not even know how much got in balance. They are working on this issue since JUNE !!!!! Can you believe 5 months and the issue is still on going ! When you go to the branch they clearly do not want to help or even to work ! they just focusing on their non proactivity which is OUTSTANDING ! 1 Star because we can't put 0 !

Although there is now only one counter and lots of machines, plenty of staff are around to assist, even with major transactions at very short notice and they are always courteous and helpful. The first time I visited this branch, I discovered a very serious mistake at Barclays head office level and nearly fainted when I printed off my statement. The manager called my partner and me straight into his office and spent the next half hour going through our account history, talking to head office and retrieving the 'missing' funds to our huge relief.

Unacceptable customer service! I walked in and I was welcomed by a young Asian lady. I asked her about apprenticeship in Barclays. I explained that I already went through the online process, I applied for the closest vacancies but was emailed that there aren't any near me. Instead of responding with a resolution or consulting with someone if she didn't know about apprenticeship, she simply said "Go on the Barclays website!"I tried to explain myself again but she said "I don't know what you mean!" It was awkward, clearly she didn't want to communicate. All I wanted it was some help. I was strongly considering becoming an apprentice there but I am very disappointed with the staff; it hasn't been the 1st time as I am a customer there too! For such a well known bank I would have expected high level customer service. Please do train your staff better before letting them talk to customers because they are the ones representing Barclays! I will be awaiting customer service to come back to me and then I will update and post once they have.
