The optometrist was very attentive, did a lot of active listening and he did not make me feel as though I were being quickly processed to be ushered out the door.Great attention to detail and service provisioning.

After my sight test and supply of glasses and sunglasses with various-focal lenses, I found them both - and particularly the sunglasses - unusable. It took another sight test and 3more lenses changes to finally achieve good usable glasses. I am very grateful for the excellent persistence and good customer service from the Boots staff to finally achieve good glasses.

A thorough examination from an extremely pleasant person who went the extra mile and as I didn?t need new glasses checked my old ones and had them tightened up as they were showing signs of wear.

I arrived well in time for my 14.35 appointment. It was 14.52 when the first part of my examination commenced and 15.03 when I went into be examined. The whole place lacked a sense of pace.

Had a hearing aid fitted last Autumn. I have returned it 4 times as it stopped working, won?t charge and is at best very unreliable. Each time it gets returned as nothing wrong. I get it back after having to chase/call/go to shop. It is currently back there, other than a brief call 4 weeks ago total radio silence. In short they have sold me an expense lie. I have asked for a full refund but that enlists total silence. Dreadful. AvoidI emailed customer support and that took a more than a week to get a response and all that said was contact the store. I tired of doing that as the hearing people are never there and don?t call you back. Enough. Time for a full refund. Now. You have sold me non warrantable goods and as such I demand a full refund. I am now 5 weeks since dropping of the device, other than a phone call the day after dropping it off (Friday), at which time I was told I will call you on Monday, 5 weeks on, no call, not on the Monday after or since. Appalling service.Update. I rang the store on the 25/10/23 and spoke to someone who informed that the manager wasn?t in that day. The audiologist were in on the 26th and she would get them to call me Without fail on the 26th. We are now at the end of the working on the 27th. Still complete radio silence.Monday I will be issuing CC Small claims writ via the county court.

Had prescription glasses for less than two months and lenses have fallen out. No replacement offered if happens again and scratches.

My glasses had got a bit wonky and I popped in to see if the legs could be adjusted. I was greeted with a smile and it was done immediately. Great, friendly service - thank you!

Late Review for August 2021 -Terrible manager (Beth) who appeared to display childish behaviour including whispering and making snidey remarks behind customers backs which I found extremely disrespectful.She also refused to arrange a collection of my much needed prescription glasses by my daughter on my behalf when I was unwell to collect in person, thus generally being unnecessarily difficult.Only agreeing to the collection when I made clear I would contact head office to complain. Very poor and unprofessional customer service and experience. Will avoid.

Bit disappointed this time. Last 2 visits the team were great, this time the eye test was poor and the options on new glasses were not satisfactory.
