“The most friendliest local convenience store. I have had the pleasure to be a customer with. Kim and his wife and kids dad extremely useful and moreover very friendly and will even order products if you require them. I certainly would recommend this to anybody”

“Staff are very helpful & likeable - credit to the manager. Have seen exceptionally caring actions taken in relation to ostensibly vulnerable (really old) locals shopping there. Expensive but that's down to Co-op not this store.”

“Not been in here to this particular store in some years, maybe two. At least nearly twelve or so years since I last climbed the somewhat steep stairs at back of the store too. Lots to see in this store. It has a very big clearance products area up those stairs right at the very back. Upstairs I also found a very useful pair of quality gardening gloves that wasn't too tight on one's hands. Their gardening gloves seem to only ever go up to size Large. I take an XL in most gloves brands. Big hands. Lucky to find a pair of the Large cut a little wider that fits me today here. Was what I went in to look at really in knowing I needed to get to the bank here for printouts. As I just couldn't find a pair of gloves to fit me at all in my local East Grinstead branch.Staff very kind, helpful and cheerful. A nice uplifting bit of banter was engaged in at the till with a great gentleman shop worker. While I tried to find all my bits needed for the purchase, my loyalty card and my bank card. The kind lady working the upstairs floor helped me navigate to the gloves up there.Couldn't get my firelighters I wanted downstairs before leaving store. The Fire Dragon BCB ones which one staff member said they'd had before. I was offered standard fire lighters instead. No good. As I wanted the Fire Dragon specifically, for camping stove fuel. It is the same one British forces use with their ration pack cookers. Multi purpose. The staff in all Robert Dyas I have asked for these in, appear all to be totally unawares of this.Only one gripe. I'm an Autistic Spectrum adult with Asperger's Syndrome. And I have good days and bad days. On bad days everything can be a bit of a struggle. Especially communicating things. And it doesn't help feeling completely squished into a store with narrow pathways/walkways chocker stuffed with as much goods as can be crammed in either really. This whole store here really suffers from the problem. It isnt relaxing if you feel slightly anxious, claustrophobic there walking around. I didn't want to linger and look around for long because of this fact. Comformable, ordered, tidy and specious would be a better way to go.Great fact probably little known. This branch of Robert Dyas has an unusually unparalleled excellent stock of just the best and loveliest looking stationary and journaling lines one could ever wish for. Very unusual plus point in Robert Dyas stores generally I feel. Noteworthy to mention. I was impressed. Fantastic selection of really nice notebooks especially.”

“Have used this spot for many years now and remember this area before the store was first opened, almost all the essentials needed however anything bigger should come from a big store. Never had a problem getting essentials from here and located next to car park spaces and other transport here. A good centre of town store.”

“All you need from a local version of Sainsbury's.They keep a fair range of stock, and whatever I've wanted I've invariably found. Prices are higher than the main supermarket but I suppose you have to pay a little for the convenience (although I have never understood why all Sainsbury's prices shouldn't bethe same). The staff are always helpful and friendly. They have a good number of self service tills as well as counter service. There is a small on-site car park, that can get busy at times.”
