Absolutely dreadful, do not & I mean DO NOT come here. It amazes me how the staff can have such awful attitude and manners towards the general population. Wish I could give negative stars. Manager shouldn't have their job. Disrespectful & unorganised.

Attempting to add a person for joint account . Went into branch, told to make an appointment, then told by counter we could just bring in proof and form.Came back in special trip with all details .... told not possible in branch. Unbelievable. Had to copy and send off all details. Several weeks nothing. Rang up, no-one could say if form had arrived, said to GO INTO BRANCH to complete. After complaining, call back from branch, unapologetic, told to come in again....... watch this space.

As a current customer I wanted to change the type of account I have. I spoke to somebody on the phone who told me to pop into the Horsham branch, no appointment necessary. Went in and was told they couldn't see me, that I needed an appointment and the first one they could offer me was over 3 weeks away which is too late for me and a very long time to wait anyway. Came home, went on line and opened the type of account I needed with HSBC in a matter of minutes and 3 days later I have a new account together with bank card! Bye bye Santander and your shocking customer service and ridiculous waiting time for current customers.
