My husband has received the best care ever, between st Richards , Worthing Hospital and Southlands they saved the sight in he?s right eye, waited one day for treatment, first class treatment thank you all so much for your hard work x

This clinic deserves -5 stars. I have been waiting to be seen for almost 2 years now. First they "miss me off" from their new computer system for 8 months then they cancel appointment after appointment. So much for being consisted "urgent"!My eye sight has gotten so bad that I now have to use a white stick when I am out of the house because I am a hazard to the public without it!So thank you Southlands Eye Clinic, thank you so much for the constant migraines and the deterioration of my sight! All because none of you could be bothered to look at my patient history and work out how long Ive been left waiting for something that was labelled URGENT!!

Today, 22 Aug, I have received the most fantastic, attentive care from everyone at Southlands hospital during my cataract surgery. Every member of staff was caring, reassuring and, informative, Thankyou!

Thankyou all the nurses and Dr Hastings today for my treatment. NHS services at its best.Appointment at 8:15am today, and home by 10am. Had Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty, Dr Hastings was very professional and caring throughout the whole treatment. All the nurses were amazing too. Thankyou for working extra time on this sunny Sunday!!!

This is my second visit and both times its been extremely difficult to hear the nurses calling your name out to go in and I wear hearing aids. It would be far better for them to use loud speakers ? ?!!!!!!!!

Waited over ?3 hours!!? for all of 20 minutes worth of actually being attended to by the nurses and doctor.It?s not good enough Southlands! Other people were even longer?Get your waiting times down, it?s just not on!!

I was referred to the eye clinic by Specsavers in September 2022, I found out this week that they have lost the letter and email sent so now I need to be referred all over again wasting 16 weeks !!

Wow! Wish every hospital visit was like this. I attended a Sunday appointment and all the staff and doctors I encountered were lovely: friendly and efficient, but in particular Sian Best, the receptionist, stood out. I was very worried about leaving my dog in the car as the day had got hot - so Sian offered to caretake him as reception was fairly quiet! When I came out after being seen my dog - who usually has separation anxiety, was sitting happily on the bench with her, cool and calm! Totally above and beyond, as I would have been so stressed out otherwise, running out to the car every five minutes. Thank you so much Sian, you've no idea how much your kindness meant!

Wonderful service, staff working so hard yet still have time for you. Was seen by eye doctor, wished I asked her name, young lady in maroon scrubs, couldn?t have been more lovely and understanding with me (was nervous). The best eye specialist I?ve ever seen. Well done to this clinic and all it?s great staff ????

I took a lady on Sunday morning for a pre assesment prior to a cataract operation.Only one other patient in the entire department as it was a Sunday.We were attended to by nurses Katherine and Mary. They were brilliant! The lady was very anxious about having to lie down for the procedure as she has problems but,after all the tests had been done, the 2 nurses took us through to where the procedure would be carried out .They spent a full 20 minutes letting her lie down,trying 2 different chairs,with pillows,gel pad,padding under her back and so on.We were at the hospital and being seen for an hour and a half! I take a lot of elderly people to various appointments and I have never seen such attention,such kindness and such patience to make sure she would see that it could indeed be done and be comfortable.As others on here have said,the consultant I saw when I took my 15 year old granddaughter to here last year,following a referral from Specsavers, could learn a lesson from Katherine and Mary on excellent Customer Service.

I was referred for a cataract procedure, which was carried out at the end of July. I have nothing but praise for the care I received, particularly as they are working with all the restrictions surrounding CoVid. The staff, fromthe reception dept.,my CoVid test appointment nurse & the doctors & nurses involved in the procedure itself were excellent, as indeed was the nurse practitioner who did my follow up call after two weeks Friendly, reassuring and professional at all times. My vision is again excellent The department is modern, spotlessly clean and efficient. I have now been given a date for my other eye and feel very pleased to be under their care.
