I have been a customer with Vision Express for over 10 years, and to be honest, their customer service is by far the best! I was looking for new glasses for my designer frames. The manager and her team were very helpful. I was shown a list of options that were available, and they made sure I was happy with the glasses that I ordered. Once they arrived, I tried them on. I was really happy with the quality, and my vision has improved. Thanks :)

A most helpful and friendly service was received from the gent who handled my enquiry. It is only a small branch with a limited selection of frames and they are closed on a Monday, however, they still have plenty of choice and the free parking Tesco provides is conveneint. These guys will be my "goto" optician for the future.

My appointment got cancelled on the same day - not a problem, it happens. I asked the person that called me to ring me back in 20 mins as I was in a work meeting. 2 hours later there was still no call.I rang back a few times and when I finally got through, a different person took my call who was very abrupt and short and seemed annoyed at me calling to rearrange and appointment that they cancelled?not great customer service!

I have visited Vision Express Shoreham twice over a three year period. On both occasions the optometrist, a different individual on each visit, was unpleasant. Neither optometrist allowed me to speak, literally interrupting my every word, not interested in hearing what I have to say about my eyes. I was made to feel like an idiot whose words were not important.Due to the optometrists clearly lacking in any social skills, let alone those expected from a professional whose work entails dealing with members of the public, I shall never visit Vision Express again.To finish on a positive, I will add that all other members of staff e.g. people working at the reception and the lady who conducted the initial tests before being seen by the optometrist, were absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, the rudeness I encountered from the optometrists during both visits overpowers all interactions with the other staff who are clearly more customer service oriented and decent human beings, resulting in the overall experience being very poor indeed.I suggest Vision Express hire optometrists, who not only exhibit technical skills, but who are also capable of treating people in a decent, acceptable manner.

Brilliant, I have mobility problems and everyone was so kind and caring. They couldn?t do enough to help. It was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend this branch to all.

In the past I have found the opticians to be stressful and very anxiety inducing. I tend to put it off going for as long as possible. However, this time around I found the whole experience to very different. The optometrist who did my test (Denita) was calm and considerate, and used a level of sensitivity I have never experienced in any other branch of Vision Express. Other branches could learn a lot from her!!! It doesn't take much to consider that potentially a customer is not being "difficult" but rather potentially could be anxious.Once I had finished my test and I was choosing glasses frames I had the wonderful luck to meet Charlene. She went above and beyond! She took the time to listen to me and gave me her opinions on frames (without being forceful) She made it clear what my options were and made sure to explain how much everything would cost. Vision Express in Shoreham is lucky to have both of these women working at their branch.

I had a very efficient eye test and then was handed over to colleague who talked about my glasses needs and then explained so much about my eyes and eyesight in a way that I have never understood before. I feel very grateful and educated. I know it was an individual employee but hopefully vision express are hiring people that know what their customer needs.

Shoreham branch. This has been the worst experience ever. Came for a contact lens trial. Started off ok. Was rung to ask if I could come in earlier as an optician was off sick. That was fine. Arranged an appointment for the next week to have contact lens fitting. This was cancelled due to no staff. Rebooked for the 2nd week. Was then rung to be told the contact lenses hadn't come in. After telling them they should have been in the week before they eventually managed to find me some to try. (They then admitted that they never actually ordered them) Gave me 3 days worth promising to order more. Nearly 2 weeks later still waiting for contact lenses. Now telling me they will re-order them. Looks like to me they never ordered them AGAIN. Now telling me that their supier has none in stock. So all you contact lens wearers looks like youll go without as they cant get any. The customer service is disgusting. They actually don't care.

I am currently waiting for someone to answer the phone. I?ve been cut off once already after a 10 min wait and I?m 20 mins into my next attempt?Chasing up a pair of frames (just the frames, no lenses yet!) after a 6 week delay?

Very friendly reception, no waiting and optician explained everything well. It was a shame the optical testing glasses wouldn't stay on my nose, I had to hold them up with my hands, much too big for me!
