Had my annual eye test yesterday and it turned out I needed a slight alteration to my current lenses. I was pleased to see that they still sold the frames that I had bought 12 months previously meaning I would be able to have my new lenses put in my existing frames without having to spend £99 on new ones. I was surprised to hear that to use my own frames, sold to me by them 12 months ago would cost £75. When I asked why the young lady said well we might break them. I can only surmise that you are paying £75 for them to be careful with your specs. Needless to say I came away with just my new prescription. I?ll find somewhere better to get my new glasses ?. No complaints whatsoever about the staff and the service which was as usual excellent.

Honestly can?t rate this place any higher. Big big thankyou to Dawn who from the moment I stepped into the shop she was warm and welcoming and throughout the whole appointment was very accommodating, there was no pressure to buy expensive glasses and there was no rush. She was so lovely and made my experience easy! Also loved how calm and not busy the shop was.

Came down last week for my glasses and contact lens appointment the sales assistant who served me was really lovely and showed me a variety of glasses to choose from on display and talked me through the contact lens scheme which I totally had no clue about. Will definitely be returning just because of the service received, a great contrast to the standard of service I have received from similar eyewear businesses.

Terrible customer service from the manager,i?ve only had my glasses for 11 months and my next appointment isn?t until next year (October 2023) and the Lenses in my glasses have a definite faulty.The film/antiglare on my lenses have worn off after using Boots lens cleaner (which states are suitable for all lenses) and toilet tissue for this particular occasion and it has left some sort of cloudy/blurry effect on them.She then said that I need new lenses and proceeded to type on the computer and told me it would be 100 and something pound (can?t remember the exact figure) for the new lenses.I told her that?s ridiculous and I won?t be paying 100 and something pound for new lenses when you can clearly see that these are faulty, and in my Opinion the film/antiglare shouldn?t wear off when cleaning glasses with Lens cleaning products (this is a fault)She then proceeded to enter some promo codes onto her computer And managed to get it down to £64. I said that this is still ridiculous now I do have to admit that I wasn?t happy about this, I wasn?t rude!! (which she claims I was after talking to head office) I was just unhappy.The manager then said, quite abruptly I may add, and I quote ? look at it from my point of view I can?t do it for free)sorry vision express but she?s now just lost you a customerSo overall poor products and poor customer serviceI wouldn?t recommend using the Baildon store at all

My first ever eye test. On arrival I was asked to choose some frames. There we only 6 frames to choose from in my budget none of which I particularly liked. I then had the eye test. I was then measured for the frames I had previously chosen. I was then asked to pay and told the glasses would be ready in 7 to 10 days. I felt slightly cheated, the sales assistant couldn't wait to take my payment, I wasn't given a choice of thinking about it nor was I given any advice if changed my mind.Today I went to specsavers and got a better choice and sturdier frames for half the price. Whilst I was there i overheard another customer complaining about vision express he too was unhappy about the choice, cost and lack of empathy

I had concerns with my vision and popped into the shop for an appointment. The young ady at the desk I dealt with was so friendly and welcoming and booked me in the next day. Prompt and efficient service

Went for my first ever in depth eye test to Vision Express in Baildon, Bradford. Great experience from start to finish. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice relaxed atmosphere. Explained every step of the procedure. Very strict with covid guidelines, great to see. Thank you

All staff were very welcoming and also understanding of my husbands medical problems. We were never made to feel rushed or apprehensive, the various procedures and the eye test itself were carried out professionally.I was most pleased that when it came to choosing my new glasses there was no pressure to purchase more expensive lenses or frames or extras such as special coatings, insurance etc. This has happened to me previously at another optician and it was lovely to choose in a relaxed atmosphere.The glasses themselves were ready in good time and I am very pleased with them.

Staff are very helpful & friendly. Optometrist was very thorough, taking plenty of time to examine my wife?s eyes in detail. My wife needed new spectacles and there was no pressure to buy expensive frames, just honest professional advice.The shop carry stocks of accessories. Covid precautions were thorough.We have been clients at Baildon branch for a number of years. Many thanks to all staff, there.
