Pleasant experience, was quite calm atmosphere considering inside area is small in itself so feels a little packed. Good size car park off Halifax Rd, have a variety of foods, fresh, frozen Inc variety of non food products. No shop floor assistants available except on cashier's.Latest update:- 1/2/24No longer pleasant experience, more like a kindergarden. Awfully busy with rush buys. Impossible to get regular food due to people just grabbing what they can! Car park is heaving & forget about disabled or electric parking as people just squeeze in when they can. Impossible to get in the other shops & the whole facility. Very very unpleasant. My advice.... Just go elsewhere!

If you shop at Aldi you will probably be familiar with the layout of almost all stores as it is almost identical. However, this particular store seem to have large trolleys in the middle of aisles stacking shelves during peak shopping hours on the weekend. Ruins the whole experience. It is also one of the busiest Aldi stores I've ever been too. It is frustrating shopping at this branch for the above mentioned reasons. The self check outs are great. As its never clear where to queue for a till. As there never seems to be any staff organising people to form an orderly queue.Sometimes some essentials such as blue top milk, eggs and some brands of bread are out of stock. Just goes to show how busy this store is. Again adds to the frustration of shopping here. The car park is an absolute nightmare to get out. If you have children or are disabled. Don't expect to find a parking spot in a designated bay as there's never a space due to inappropriate use. It can be a struggle to find a car parking space accross the wider car park in general on a weekend.Trolleys seem to be left in all corners of the car park and never moved back closer to the store entrance. Annoying when you have to wander around to suddenly see 10 to 25 trolleys near the child parking spots and none out front of the store. The greedflation at Aldi is something else too. Prices have gone up and stayed up without coming down. Part of me wanders if this is just greed as opposed to inflation.Sholing here no matter how frustrating currently serves a purpose. It's no where near as cheap as it once was but arguably still cheaper than Tesco, Asda and Morrisons. Therefore, will continue to shop here but cannot rate the retail park or Aldi store any more than 1 star for all the above reasons.
