Purchased a pair of slippers on Saturday and went back on Thursday to change them as there were big for my mum, the lady in the till was the rudest person I have came across claiming that the slippers were dirty, actually were cleaner from the ones on shelf, then she refused because she claimed that there were no tags, receipt and tags were in bag but not on slippers, most the times she was trying to find faults were there were not any, definitely staff there need to be retrained regarding manners ?

As Bradford has very limited places to eat for lunch me and my sister decided to try M&S cafe. I have zero complaints about the food quality itself, we both ordered soup and it was tasty and perfectly warm, served in a good time. However, the pricing was outrageous. Soup at the cafe costs £5 a portion, not including the bread roll which is an extra 50p. This means in total we spent £11 on soup and bread rolls. When it arrived we were bitterly underwhelmed with the portion size which was a very small bowl. I looked at the ciabatta bread roll and immediately recognised it as the ones sold downstairs in the food hall in a pack of 4 as I got the exact same ones reduced not even a week ago. Upon tasting the soup I realised it too was the soup they sold in the tub downstairs, as I have also had this previously. As I said - the food was delicious, but the value for money seemed atrocious. I went to the food hall to compare pricing after the meal. The soup for one tub costs £2.80, and the nutritional information displayed in the restaurant matched the information exactly for a mere half a tub starvation portion. The ciabatta rolls were £1.60 for a 4 pack. Therefore, the total price at the food hall for these items would be £3.60 (as we obviously only had 2 rolls). I understand that the act of food preparation and the service would make the cafe pricing more expensive, but charging £7.40 more to essentially microwave a tub of soup, toast some rolls, and bring it to us is ridiculous. Not to mention that we didn?t get given knives for our butter (hence the laughable photo of the unspread butter on the roll). In summary - don?t expect value, you may as well make the food yourself for that price!?

Absolutely brilliant! Everytime I wander in this area I always decide to pop in and have a look at what M&S have on. Right now they have some great Christmas goodies on so head on down! They've got everything from clothes to food!

Came here to shop, decided to have some brunch, ordered the eggs royal and the cheese Charlotte quiche. The food came in great time egg cooked perfect the sauce was a little too runny for my liking and lacking in flavour; the quiche was nothing special, felt like it was a ready made from the shop floor and warmed up in the microwave.I?m sure M&S can do better than this. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.

The staff in the cafe are absolutely lovely!! Kind, friendly and so helpful. I've been coming here with my toddler since the week he was born and they can never do enough for us. They are always so lovely to him when we come for lunch and equally they are always helping elderly people with their tables and to carry their food. Brilliant and the staff are what makes it!Sadly couldn't say the same for general lazy management. I've watched them sit, chatting and drinking coffee whilst there are queues and staff are fun off their feet. Poor show from them!!
