So, the beer festival is underway. Walked in today hoping for a stout to enjoy and sheer bliss....... x2 stouts and a porter ( be still my beating heart/ gastric juices ). The white stout from Nethergate Brewery is a veritable joy for the tastebuds!

Where do I start never know a place that was excellent they do,nt just put prices up they give smaller portions also what is wrong with these places that think they can serve you anything anyway the service is not organised I don't bother much now try Huddsfield they have it right (Harold wilson)

Arranged and booked a table for 7 lady walkers for breakfast when we arrived was told they didn't take bookings after speaking to the person in charge a table was found very quickly, we ordered our food and drinks with no problem, food was excellent for the price, a walk back to Cromwell Bottom excellent morning for the golden oldies.

Me and the wife thought we would save on the washing up and cooking and pop out to our local spoons in brighouse. You know what to expect when you enter a weatherspoons, reasonable food at affordable prices and a great selection of drinks. We settled on a mixed grill and a tuna Panini with some extra onion rings and a couple of pints of Budweiser. The food came in under 15 minutes and was cooked well and tasted good. There were a few rowdy people in there who looked and sounded like they had been there all day but I found it more amusing than annoying. It wasn't the cleanest with quite a few tables with empty plates and glasses but eventually they were tidied up. Overall we will obviously go back as we got exactly what we expected. Good drinks and good food for the little we spent
