“Excellent service from the Halifax Staff. Yesterday my wife and I had occasion to visit the Dewsbury Branch of the Halifax Bank. This is our regular banking source and we had gone there because we were unhappy about four entries which had appeared on our latest statement. We use online banking and it is not every month that I bring up our statements, but on this occasion, for the month of June I had noted four entries which I had no knowledge of. We were attended to by a very pleasant and highly professional young woman, I know only as Rossina. She quickly ushered us into a private office and after a brief explanation, she within minutes, had detected a number of other entries of equally STRANGE SOURCES TO US. She then equally quickly contacted your fraud detection branch by telephone, who with Rossina went through our accounts for the previous twelve months. They were, both of them absolutely first class, first, they detected at least another dozen cases, then had the card stopped and took steps to issue another but the most astounding thing was the refund of these fraudulent transactions into our account.before we even left the Branch.! This was magnificent service and should be widely known but in the first step I wish to draw you your attention to the work of M/S Rossina.
