Deliberate policy of reducing opening hours, then front desk services... Wait for customer footfall to reduce and then they close the branch. All dewsbury customers should close their HSBC accounts in protest, before long the rest of Dewsbury Bank branches will close too. Funny how santander started it all off in Heckmondwike by being the first to close their branch and not a single bank remains there now (there used to be 5)and now santander did the same in dewsbury followed now by HSBC!

Cash services removed and no more front desk and had cash that needed banking, Sofia helped to resolve quickly without driving to another HSBC with front desk services. It is a sign of times as key face to face services are being removed as more and more move online, it is what it is. But thankfully some staff are available to assist and resolve queries.

Change your opening hours online!!! I've travelled 15 miles and paid for parking after checking your opening hours online all to be faced with a closed bank! Ridiculous how the other branches that have changed their opening times have had the common decency to change their online hours, why havent you! Absolute joke!!!!

Even after submitting a safeguard form online few times and not having any more error messages on the online banking, I got a letter today on post saying business account will be closed. RUBBISH RUBBISH BANK EVER for business banking.

Dont know what experience the previous person had to leave such a negative review, however i can say sofia is amazing, very helpful and took my best interests at heart when i went in to upgrade my account. Very informative and helpful and all the staff are very cheerful and always there to help. In response to the previous reviewer who mentioned about noone smiling in the store; Maybe the reason no-one smiles at you is because you have a face noone wants to smile at. #MiserableBeing

Absolutely awful staff. Sofia the â??Personal bankerâ? told us to go to Yorkshire Bank for to open cash isa . All staff gave us the wrong information on cash isa and help to buy scheme. Treated us and interrogated us as though we were criminals demanding personal information over phone. We told her not to confuse us she tried to push us into get a loan we didnâ??t need and no intention of getting. We made 4 journeys to get information but everything went wrong. Very rude, abrupt doesnâ??t understand vulnerable customers and tries to take advantage of vulnerable customers by confusing them and binding them in. Had to complain after being treated absolutely disgustingly and offending us when all we wanted was to open an isa. Said we needed to open savings account and demanded £500 per month without fail in order to open cash isa . Staff do not smile, greet or welcome customers and itâ??s awful like dead town you feel awful asking for advice or help. Avoid and as their own staff said â??go to Yorkshire Bankâ? complained to customer service centre who said Dewsbury manager will contact us in mobile but branch manager failed to contact us. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional staff all of them!

Cannot fault them,found the staff very understanding & helpful when our account was emptied by a bogus employee who conned my wife. 1st Class and just what i would expect from them

When closing an account they make it difficult and even after its been closed they still spam you with junk mail and somehow the it appears as though the business account is still open as statements are still sent out.
