Had some new bulbs fitted,lad inside was ok but the fitter that installed my bulbs was horrible,I was inside paying my bill while he was fitting my bulbs and not realising my wife was sat in car started moaning to his boss via a headset that he shouldn't have to remove a small bit of duct tape on light to get access(don't get paid to do this)were the words used,if you don't like your job don't do it....I'm sure someone else with a better attitude will

Bad service almost resulted in accident, I purchased a boardman from here and it came with some sort of warranty where I got a free service. I took it in for its service and was told that all was fine. Later that day, I went on a bike ride which included a steep hill. About 3 minutes into my bike ride as I was going down said hill (which was relatively busy) my entire pedal crank fell off and as I result I almost lost my balance. If I had fallen I could have been hit by a car. We took the bike back and the man who had serviced it refused to take any responsibility for what had happened but he did point out why it had happened. I will not be taking my bike back here for any sort of service or repair work.

I came in for a bike check on my grandsons bmx bike. I had made an appointment the previous day which was great but the bike guy was very surly and not at all customer friendly. However he did a good job and tweaked the bike to perfection, just a shame he was so grumpy.

I am extremely happy with the service i received today, excellent customer service, I had all my headlights, indicators and side lights bulbs replaced on my vehicle. Got a free vehicle check and was advised on any issues with my vehicle. No hard selling, just advice on what are my best options for the maintenance of my vehicle. Thanks to kez, Adam and Brendan, all who provided exceptional service. I will be returning for future services.

Had a problem with my phone connecting with my car Info system and very fortunately bumped into a really nice guy called Shaz .He really knew his stuff and sorted me out in no time.. Great disposition and really polite and helpful.

Paid for brake lights and fitting and was told I needed to pay an extra £18 on top of that already paid if I wanted them both doing. Absolute scam. Disgusting service, I will not use again

When I booked my car in to have a reversing camera attached they estimated it would take 2.5 hours so I booked it in. When I arrived they said come back in 6 hours. After today I won't be having any more work done by halfords again!

Would be good but serious problems getting invoice and when it finally came there was no VAT number, which means I can't claim back the VAT. This makes Halfords considerably more expensive than the alternatives. Won't be using again.
