“Always a friendly face to serve you, knowledgable and helpful as i send quite a lot of parcels. They dont do road tax or have dvla forms so best to go to the main one in town.”

“Now been and under new management this p.o. has definitely up ed it's market and reputation .... with a bus stop right out side it's doors making shopping trips into town easy .... friendly staff always willing to help . You can pay your rent here and other bills ... so you don't have to drag yourself down to town if you don't want to 😠”
“A lot of these reviews seem to be regarding the previous post office under different ownership. I use this PO over any others as the guy running it is really quick and knows what he's doing. Only gripe was it was closed early on arrival one day at 4.30ish. Otherwise all good each time. Cheers”
“Brilliant staff. Very friendly. Lovely hot food cooked in a clean kitchen. Perfect for a cold windy day. Good location for local residents. Bus stops outside. Place to sit and eat outside if you wish Reasonably priced for a local shop. Offers Atm 24hrs a day. Gas, electricity and phone top ups. Everything you'd expect to find in your local shops. Mini bakery included.”
“I used to take my mail to WHSmith, when the postman had already collected from my local post office, but they always delayed packages by 24 hours. Now in use the post office, behind the bus station as they take mail up to 6pm same as WHSmith but it goes out the day you drop it off. Far better service. On the website it says they are open until 8pm, that is for collections only, dropping off is until 6pm and at the side door, ring the bell and wait, usually about 5mins.”
“As I live near, I regularly visit the sorting office to.collect my parcels. Always had a friendly polite service.Even the horrible rude people that think it is a customer service center get a friendly service.”

“Barkisland post office is a great post office , the staff are always very friendly and polite . There’s a great selection of stationary products, envelopes, pens etc . Also there’s a fantastic selection of pies, pasties and there’s a great selection of pastry’s. Also you can pick up a cold or hot sandwich inside if you wish . This is the best post office in the area .”
