Location is good for eureka children's museum. New carpets and flooring in bathrooms. The furniture was a little worn.

A bit trivial but the tea/coffee mugs were small and difficult to hold the handle. The heated bathroom mirror was a nice touch. The rest of our stay was excellent. Staff were friendly plenty of parking spaces, the Engine Room next door was good for meals.

Excellent travelodge in an old mill building. Plenty of character. Service was exceptional. Didn't have breakfast there, but took up a recommendation from the lady on reception on where to eat, which was excellent. Lots of parking , which is chargeable, but again reception will advise when to pay as there are times it's free. The hotel is about 10 min walk to the town centre

The floor and most of the bedding were clean, however one of the pillows had a pink line stain. There was a different pink stain smudged on one of the towels. The door didn't lock from the inside.Marks down the bathroom sink counter and most of the fittings seemed to be falling apart. Also, no plug sockets near the bed. Plugs were actually inconveniently placed in the corner under the desk so accessibility isn't a feature in the room design.1 star on the room only because the bed was very comfy.2 stars on service as who charges for WiFi in this day and age? Especially on a spot of low phone signal. But the staff were friendly at check in and check out.20 min walk from town centre so away from the noise of nightlife.

The staff are very kind and supportive. Receptionist Aga was very helpful so I would like to say thank you, the rooms were tidy and I had a great night

What a great location with a great history of this building what they have done with it in a great location from the shops the stuff are ok as it's a Basic hotel no restaurant But there is one Member of staff who went above and beyond helped us so much With directions where to go showed us on maps? Very knowledge of the area and gave us the time Joy sharing some history on the plane ? and for that reason I would come back here the rooms are big and for what you pay is greatThe down side is the WIFI it says on line its free but that is not the case it's 30mins free then you have to pay for the WiFi £3 for 24hrs Normal signal is not available For your daterThe bathroom is ok they are all Covered for elderly people with handles which is a plus side but it's nice when a bathroom has a bit of Character but here it's not but still nice hot water all nice and clean aswellRooms: As it's great to stay here great beds big rooms ?

We got a call at 19:30 on the night cancelling our stay, and were told they would phone us back to give us alternative arrangements. We never received this call and they don't pick up the phone at the desk, and they are now refusing to even refund us for the room we never got to use.I imagine it's a perfectly standard hotel if you get to set foot in it, but I'd be wary of the Customer service from the staff and you'll want to show up early to check in as they admit they routinely overbook.

Stayed August 2023.Brilliant service, the lady on reception went above and beyond to welcome us. She took interest in our visit and gave some good advice on the parking too - it's free at weekends, or after 5pm during the week. The room was clean and tidy with two windows, a small TV, a kettle and some tea and coffee. It's basic, but anyone expecting luxury shouldn't book a Travelodge. It's located in the Dean Clough mill complex. Nearby cafe Hubb does amazing coffee, while the Engine Rooms offers cheap cooked breakfasts. Round the corner is the incredible Stod Fold pub too. Town is just a 15-minute walk but if you have no reason to go, don't bother. You have everything you need around the hotel.A great stay and a very good sleep in a comfy bed. Thanks!

Considering I paid £205 for one night, I was absolutely disgusted by the state of the hotel room.I booked this room to stay in after attending a concert in Halifax. You'd think paying over £200 (including the £10 early check in fee), you'd get a little more for your money. We were greeted with torn furniture and stains, along with insulation bursting out of the bathroom wall and poor electricity. The only positive feedback I can give this hotel is for the reception staff. One woman (dark hair and thick, dark glasses), was an absolute joy to be served by. She took interest in our stay in Halifax and was so welcoming and warm during check in and check out.If you're going to stay somewhere for £200+ a night, go anywhere but here.
