“Fab place always friendly customer services . The place is exceptionally clean and tidy and belongs very much to the community and other local areas. Has a very good choice of food and if you cannot find what you need you only have to ask. Free cash machine and you can have a brew. What more could you ask for. Would recommend Steve Sonia and their staff for 5 plus stars. Thank you for this shop highly recommended.”

“Good selection, always buy the specials to get best value, although not as much of a bargain recently Iceland:Food Warehouse have not caught up and are worthy rivals. But I think it’s Farmfoods who have gone up rather than Iceland who have come down”

“Shopped here today and was served by Tony. They're was initially a long queue but Tony opened another checkout. When I was paying for my goods I was struggling with a new card. Tony was extremely patient, reassuring me and telling me not to panic. Eventually we sussed out my payment and all was good. Tony was very professional, reassuring, friendly and helpful.”

“The man on the till tonight at 5.50pm is fantastic. His customer service skills are great. He is helpful, polite and friendly. I’ve been served by him a few times when I call in on my way home from work around the same time and he is always the same and finishes by telling you to have a good evening. He is an asset to your team. Please pass on my compliments.”

“Home Bargains is one of the best value shops in Huddersfield. They are still fairly new on the scene, however they are my preferred choice for lots of items over the big supermarkets. They deserve their place up there and are a weekly favourite for sure. Top marks.”

“Super handy sainsbury's right next to town always plenty of parking near the store. And good to have a petrol station on the same plot.We just popped in to return an item back to argos, nice store plenty of space due to the wide asiles. Bought a few items that we needed whilst we were there the staff are nice and friendly and helpful over all a good experience worth a visit. I would reccomend a visit if you are passing also they seem to have a pretty good clothing range in there so that's an added bonus.:)”

“Paul and the Green Building Store MVHR team were really responsive and helpful answering all of our queries - we did not get our MVHR system from GBS in the end as there wasn't a system to meet our specific requirements, but would definitely recommend GBS as they are very knowledgeable and helpful in MVHR design.”

“Usual Aldi fare. Busy at weekends, as expected. Nappies represent exceptional value as do many of the products there. Bought GT85 lubricant for my door too, which seemed an unlikely, but welcome find there!”

“This has been my local store for 20+ years. It is a true family business and has an exceptionally good range of products for a local village shop. World foods have always been a speciality and the wine selection is great with lots of 'deal' wines. They are a national lottery outlet but also have other services such as click and collect. The staff team are exceptionally friendly and no request is too difficult. Also it is wheelchair friendly with an automatic door so access is easy.”

“Handy when you've run out of stuff. Quite good choice of groceries for a small shop. The petrol station part can get quite busy, and you need to use the cashiers to pay. If you're just getting groceries there are a few self check outs which is quite handy. Staff always seem to be friendly in here. There's also a cash point just outside.”

“I recommend trying a full weekly/monthly shop here if you're wanting to get the best value for money. Due to the constant increase in prices that are forcing money to stretch further and further making it harder to ensure you get enough food/essential items from payments to payments, it's definitely worth a change of supermarkets from the usual places. In some supermarkets the prices are making it so the amount that'd in the past allow you to leave a shop with more than enough to last until you next receive a payment is now getting half of what you could get a few months back. I used to be regularly doing most if not all of my shopping at Asda. Unfortunately I've had no other choice but to make a change by taking the leap of trying an alternative supermarket. I'm positive that starting to shop at Lidl has opened my eyes and been a complete game changer. The amount of goods you are able to come home with is unbelievable. If you compare going and spending £60 at Asda then spending £60 at Lidl, you wouldn't believe how much more you can get from Lidl you'd never do from Asda. In such hard times everyone is suffering with daily, it's places like Lidl that are a lifeline for many. Give it a try, you'll be wishing you'd of made the change sooner ?”
