“Good location, friendly staff, clean, free parking and lots of it. Free wifi, nice reception area.Canal behind the hotel is a good walking track which links to many areas in huddersfield and its a lovely walk by the canal.Theres a sports complex on leeds road just an arm stretch away, accessible via canal or main road, it has a running track, basket ball court and an open air gym.Loads of cafes and restaurants around the hotel, just check google maps for nearby.Our highlight of this stay other the hotel itself was the food we had delivered to us from a local take away called gourmet hub, excellentSo many reasons to come and stay here for the next gig we attend in huddersfield.Nearby activities: Had food delivered from Gourmet Hub a local take away and Omg the food was probably the highlight of our staycation.There are 2 shopping malls/ retail parks at walking distance, a pub and costa on site. Town centre is 4 minutes down the road”

“I was in the "shed" which is just across the small car park. Had a fairly big room work a lovely view of the canal. Really peaceful and had a good night's sleep. There are two car parks, a small one or a section at the back of sainsburys car park over the canal bridge.”

“Bought a mattress here. Great value and loads to choose from. Friendly staff to help choose the right mattress. Delivery was the next day and punctual . For £20 they take your old mattress away. Big showroom and carparking available.”

“Spoke to a staff member as I wasn't sure with measurements, she was great worked measurements and cost out, nice thing is I didn't have to go looking for her but she wasn't hovering and pushy, wish I'd read her name badge so she could have been told how helpful she was”

“If you go to Bensons for Beds on Leeds Road in Huddersfield ask for Lyba, she is an absolute pleasure. She listens, laughs, and has a wonderful personality she was perfect in every way she could be. She listened and understood, she never seemed fed up when I went back and forth and she cared that I got the right mattress knowing it was going to help with my disabilities and sleep comfort. They should know how lucky they are to have staff like her.”
